This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Spaceballs is probably my favorite movie of all time, and if you watched it before, you would know why. But anyway onto the big question: how many of you watched the movie, and if you did, what were your favorite parts? My favorite parts were "Ludicrous Speed", and when Dark Helmet was playing with his dolls.

"Prepare to fast-forward!"
One of my favorite parodies. It hardly ever gets old. I love the Alien joke they threw in there..."oh no, not again!"

Nice name for the thread, btw. *thumbs up*

This movie is great, where else do you have 3 different movie references within 15 seconds:

Guy eating a salad breaks down, an Alien (From Alien) bursts out of his chest,
Alien begins to sing 'Singing in the Rain'
Other customer says: I don't want to have what he had.

And the 'Combing the desert' line is one of my favourite movie quotes ever.

I've watched it before, and I've no idea why. However, that was years ago, I must've been about 10 when I saw it and didn't think it was anything special. I also hadn't watched any Star Wars movies.

I particularly liked "If you can read this, you don't need glasses", because the first time I saw Spaceballs was the first day I wore glasses, and also the scene in which they watch themselves on the tele.

I love the scene where they play the movie before it actually comes out.

"When will then be now?"
"Soon."
"How soon?"

lmao

I love when Lone Star and Dark Helmet are fighting...."I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate." " What's that make us?" "Absolutely nothing."

Instantly one of my favorite movies of all time. Of course, knowing all those 80's jokes kinda takes in time (*born in 90's*) but overall I <3 it. Probably have seen around 10 times now. XD Combing the Desert joke = Best ever. And Yogurt FTW.

Sweet! First a Mel Brooks thread and now one for one of his all time bests!

"I see your Schwartz is bigger than mine!"

On that note: Spaceballs Info there is still news since January that Mel Brooks has been in hiatus to in fact, make an animated series of Spaceballs! Sweet. Maybe tough since John Candy is no longer with us but still possibly worth a look.
