I could never get passed the third from last level (or was it fourth) of the game where you have to scale some tower without the dagger.
Maybe the movie will show me how.

I'm wholly expecting it to disappoint but in terms of Arabian myth, Disney has done very well in the past (Aladdin). It might be good as a stand alone movie but I already felt that the story and characters of PoP:SoT were already very solid so why they're replacing Farah with a totally different princess is beyond me. I'm intrigued though because this is the sort of setup that gives bullet time a REASON to be there and be used effectively, unlike a billion other action movies that have it for no reason other than blatantly ripping off The Matrix.
Also, the Prince had better be a snarky, arrogant, and slighty stupid douchebag and NOT a moppy emo.

Titan=agree 100% about bullet time, it was cool in Matix because something new and special, now just seems like throw in their any time they can when I think action scenes which are simply well corographed looked lot better anyway, (yes, before someone says it, I do know their is spelling mistakes,)
=Compare Gladiator to 300, which is better????????? -I think this film will sink faster than Boot-strap-Bill, like all game based films do, because in same as well as Anime is too wacky for Live action, so are films, it will all be too clean cut and overly done, making just seem bland and wishy washy -As for white cast, well who knows, the only one I know is when you yanks thought that citizens of UK would reject better to the Abba Films ad's if they did not include black people and so edited all black poeple out of them, lol =To say we reacted indigently was under statement lol, seriously what was that logic about?????? -UK tries to be pride itself on being most neo-multi cultural place in world and think editing black poeple will go well there

I'm hoping it's good... never played the game, but the previews don't look too bad. I'll probably wait to see it until it comes out on DVD tho... we'll see.
I think it's always wise to watch first and judge second.

I honestly liked it... It was a bit theatrical at points, but it had a fight with throwing knives, so that made up for everything, imho (yes i'm a nerd, so sue me) :V
