Shameless begging for help right hurr.
Alright, I need help figuring what's wrong with my laptop.
When I turn it on I get a program error window or something like that, and it's worrying me so I'd like to know what it means... ...I'm gonna go restart, then edit in a screenshot of what I get when i start it up again. HOLD TIGHT! Screenshot- WTF > ^>; Last edited by Choi Jin-Ah; 01-20-2010 at 01:42 AM. |

something isn't working right and that program can't run.

I don't even know what program it IS though.
The only programs I have that start on startup is my messengers (AIM/MSN/Yahoo), and those're working fine... There a way I could find out what program isn't 'running properly'? |

not really sure, but If I had to guess I'd say it's a driver hardware program.
are you able to go into the device manager to see if everything is working properly? |

Click,
Hardware and sound. Scroll til you see device manager Click Device Manager click the (+) symbols, if there is a problem with a driver or other hardware component you'll see an (!), click the device with the (!) to see if it's operating properly. If It's not working right you're on your own I only know how to find where the problem is, not how to fix it. |

first thing to do is a run some kind of registry cleaner, get http://www.ccleaner.com/ or something
if that doesn't work you'd need to balls around in regedit, except don't - you'd fuck that right up |

If she's asking for help on this forum, she definitely shouldn't play around with the registry.

Do not delete background
Googling "hdwwdRes.dll" came out with nothing, so I'm not really sure what to tell you. You could always just reinstall but you probably don't want to do that. If all your getting is that error message and nothing else is wrong then, I'd recommend just leaving it be unless the message is really annoying you or something. It's probably not anything important. Your liable to do more harm than good trying to fix it. |
