"Maurice" proceeds to place the pots in the following order on the pedestals from left to right: red orange yellow purple green blue and indigo.

Can I ask why in that order? I thought it was gonna be like, a weight puzzle or something.

If Tyler's solution doesn't work, I'll pick up the pots one by one and feel how heavy each pot is.

Mo Shyera: I help Maurice place pots on pedestals in that order.

He picks up the pots, noticing that they're of different weights as he does so, and places them on the pedestals with the red pot going on the lowest pedestal and the indigo pot going on the highest pedestal. When he puts the red pot on the first, lowest pedestal, going left to right, the pedestal lowers to be even with the table. The number on the seventh pedestal changes to be an 8. When he puts the orange pot on the second pedestal, the pedestal lowers to be even with the table. The sixth pedestal in the line goes up to be even with the seventh pedestal. The sixth pedestal's number changes to be a 8. When he puts the yellow pot on the third pedestal, the pedestal lowers to be even with the table. The fifth pedestal raises to be even with the sixth and seventh pedestals. The fifth pedestal now has the number 8 on it. When he puts the purple pot on the fourth pedestal, it lowers to be even with the table. When he puts the green pot on the fifth pedestal, the fifth pedestal lowers. Its number changed from 8 to 4. At the same time, the third pedestal raises. Its number now seems to be 3. When he puts the blue pot on the sixth pedestal, the sixth pedestal lowers. Its number changes to 3. The second pedestal raises. Its number is now 4. When he puts the indigo pot on the seventh pedestal, the seventh pedestal lowers. Its number changes to 1. The first pedestal rises. Its number changes to 6. |

After the pedestals do not line up according to the picture, Jack goes over and picks up the pots experimentally. The red pot seems lightest. The weights seem to increase steadily after that, going in order of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, with violet being the heaviest of the 7 pots.

Link will look at the wall to identify what it is indeed the goal is. Thinking for a bit he goes on to place the pots on the pedestals on the following order:
Red pot on the 5th pedestal Orange pot on the 6th pedestal Yellow pot on the 7th pedestal Green pot on the 4th pedestal |

Mo Shyera: I move the Indigo pot to pedestal 1, once that is done, I put the blue pot on pedestal 3

When you make actions, please specify what you do with the pots that were already on the pedestals, and whether you intend to do your actions before, after, or at the same time as other people's actions when dealing with puzzles.

For clarification, I'm resetting the puzzle and doing it my way, only letting Mo have her shot after my success or failure. Failure to comply will result in me smacking her with the dull side of my sword.

Link places the red pot on the 5th pedestal. The 5th pedestal lowers and its number changes to a 4. The third pedestal raises and its number changes to a 4. Link places the orange pot on the 6th pedestal. It lowers and its number changes to a 4. The 2nd pedestal raises and its number changes to a 4. Link places the yellow pot on the 7th pedestal. It lowers and its number changes to a 4. The 1st pedestal raises and its number changes to a 4. Link places the green pot on the 4th pedestal. It lowers until it is level with the table. Something clicks, and Link steps back. The pedestals glow for a moment, and the pots vanish, reappearing back on the table. The picture on the wall behind the table glows white as well. When the light fades, 0mni finds the picture to be the same as before... except the outlines of 7 pots are now depicted atop the pedestals. |
