I'd still have to say the months-old Popeye's box that still probably had food in it.

Close seconds are the mountain of unattended bags of trash and some stuff in the fridge that expired 2 years ago.

Over lunch I watched episode 24 (where [ Legato ] dies). I should finish up the last two episodes tonight and I'll start on Darker than Black afterward.

Don't know. It's just the only other one on my list that's on Netflix, lol (except maybe Wolf's Rain but I haven't looked).

After that, Funimation has C subs on their website so I'll probably watch that, and they should be coming out with Deadman Wonderland soonish so the series after C will depend on how quickly that releases.

and ooo Deadman Wonderland's anime has gone somewhere? Has it gone further than the manga?

C (or Control) is a series.

I'm not sure about the adaptation of Deadman Wonderland, really. All I know is Funimation recently got the localization rights to the anime, among other series.

Apparently it's a YuGiOh/Digimon-esque series where most of the action takes place in a cyberworld where people's strength is determined by the kind of financial resources they have...or something.

Also I hit 2000. Yay.

I guess now I hang around and hope people take a slightly-renewed interest in the thread. It would at least be a good place to comment on the anime I'm watching as I make my way through the list.

Since I decided I'd start giving impressions on my anime viewing here, I should mention that I finished Trigun today.

My overall impression that it was fairly good. It definitely was a product of its time but that doesn't detract from it being enjoyable overall. I'd say the biggest downfall was that it had a whole lot of throwaway characters, and each episode pretty much took place in an entirely different city so it was hard to get a grasp on how one part of the story affected another.

Anyway, I'd say watch it for anyone who hasn't.

Next on my list: Darker than Black.
