Round Intro:
One day, RebornZombie was driving to the store to pick up more bird feed. Up ahead, a traffic light turns red and RebornZombie brings the vehicle to a stop. As he's waiting for the light to change, a rock breaks through the driver's window, hitting him in the head. When his eyes focus again, he looks around but finds nobody nearby. Indeed, the town seems oddly quiet today, punctuated only by the occasional sound of somebody yelling. RebornZombie reaches down and picks up the rock. Holding it up, he finds some words scrawled on it in messy handwriting. "What...?" RebornZombie says to himself, then looks ahead again. As he watches, a man begins crossing the road. Partway across, another rock plummets from the sky, hitting them in the head. The man stumbles and falls to the pavement, stunned. Before RebornZombie can get out of the vehicle, he hears a loud voice from overhead. Putting his head out the broken window, he looks up to see somebody standing on a tall building, several black boxes set up next to them. "Attention, Citizens. We are going to play a game now. Isn't that fun? Each one of you has received the name of the role you're going to play in this game. Some of you are Citizens, some of you are EVA Pilots, some of you are Angels. One lucky soul even gets to be the NERV Director! But what's the point, you might ask? Well, if you're an EVA Pilot, you must kill the people given the Angel role. If you're an Angel, you must kill the person given the role of EVA Pilot, Unit 0. Haha! Oh, but, there are Citizens too... Well, friends, you are the wildcards of the game. You can do whatever you want, help whoever you please. Who do you want to win? Let's find out. And who could forget the NERV Director? They are supposed to help the EVA Pilots, but... well, who can say what they plan to do in the end? Or who they are? Or who anybody is? After all, only death can answer that question... With that... Gaaaaaaaaame START!" Quote:
Okay, so. A few notes. First, Turns are scheduled to end at 6:30 P.M., EST. The first Turn will go on a bit longer than the others, of course. Second, if you haven't yet, read over the rules and roles. It's a pretty short read compared to some other forum games. Third, if you're a Citizen, you are in fact very important to either side. There are no investigative roles in this game. For most intents and purposes, the only way to know somebody's role for sure is for that player to die. Further, any misstep in targeting an enemy will lead to immediate death for the Angel in question and an almost certain death next turn for the EVA Pilot in question. That means that what you say and do in the thread is very important to the flow of the game, regardless of your role. So get out there and mess with people. Round Start! |

Show your work, grim. Tell me why I need to be killed. That's what this portion of the game is for. The vote doesn't really matter. To get an idea of who everybody is, we need to have a discussion beyond just voting.
I could be an Angel. I've certainly been talking the most out of everyone here and I seem to have something to gain from a discussion. I could be a pilot trying to find an angel. I could be the Nerv director speaking on behalf of my pilots. Or I could just be trying to jerk everyone around because I co-created the game and have a better idea of what to do. |

Turn 1 Results:
Soon, several townspeople have gathered inside the town hall to discuss the dilemma in a reasonable and civil manner. "It was him, I know it was him! He's the one who started all this!" Gcar says, pointing dramatically at killshot. "Nonsense. The culprit is clearly right over there." Killshot replies, gesturing to his right. There, a dog is pawing at a keyboard, a befuddled expression on its face. "Yes, it must be grimfang!" "BRILLIANT. I shan't fall for your tricks again, fell beast! I second killshot's proposal!" CELTICfan says. "No, no, no. Don't you see? It's obviously killshot, he's behaving far more aggressively than normal, it's clear he has something to hide." Fared says, shaking his head. "I CHANGE MY ACCUSATION TO FARED. HE IS BLIND." Killshot replies. To his right, grimfang begins waving one paw vehemently at him, terror in his eyes. Killshot turns towards the dog. "SHOW YOUR WORK, CUR. WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S ME, HUH? WHAT, CAT GOT YOUR TONGUE?" Killshot shouts. In response, the dog regains its confused expression, backing away with paws held up in supplication. At that moment, a man crashes through one of the windows. "HEY, GUYS. NERV DIRECTOR ISHI HERE. KILLSHOT'S MAH PILOT." The man, Ishikawa Oshro, says. "There we go! Now that's sorted out."Killshot replies, nodding his head in satisfaction. Grimfang facepalms. "Why, yes, my good dog, this action was a stroke of genius! Now the Angels won't know what to do! Nobody will, nobody except NERV DIRECTOR ANGEL ISHIKAWA. MUHAHAHAHA." Ishikawa says, laughing hysterically at the end. Everybody looks around nervously, but nothing happens. Quote:

Turn 2 Results:
Just then, nothing stopped being a thing that was happening. As RebornZombie walks into the town hall, a crazed robot tackles him to the ground and begin shouting about how giving abortion pills to children is wrong. A few seconds in, the robot explodes in a poof of illogic, taking RebornZombie with him. The collective town stares at the spectacle, except for grimfang, who continues to flail at his laptop with his unwieldy paws. Quote:
