This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Well i understand your point but the thing is that there are other topics created for this exact dissution.
I would´nt mind taking about it here so much if those topics wern´t created in the first place.

Yeah but what yellow pages says is still true this is 'the PS3 topic' so you talk about the PS3 in what ever way you see it. Now if this was called 'The PS3 fanboy, whooo grahics make a game not gameplay or story' then you could argue this point!

Hey, dual shock is confirmed. After all the requests from the public, and the finantial buisness with rummble companys, they have decided to create a controler with motion sensors and vibration. It was tricky, but they did it.

Yeah I'm glad DualShock 3 is coming, Metal Gear Solid 4 wouldn't feel right without it, nor would Devil May Cry 4. As soon as it comes out I'm getting 4 of those babies, but I'm keeping my SIXAXIS controllers as you can never have too many spare controllers...

Oh yeah, a neat thing to do on your PS3 is to use it's Media Servers function (Firmware 1.80 and above) and find things on your computer and put them onto the PS3, as long as you convert it to MPEG 2, such as Yu Gi Oh Abridged, and tell you something, it's swwweeeeetttt on a HD tv!

BTW, anyone have Warhawk, I never played online games that much, even on PC, but this game rules, I love being on the ground more than in the air, charging across the map in a jeep, on foot or in a tank is always great fun. I quickly got promoted to Commander Sergeant...even though I'm not the best player around, or play THAT often, something's a bit screwy about the rankings but I play for fun, and it's one hell of a ride!

Basically you have walked right in to sonys grubby little hands! In order for your games to feel real you now need to pay more money!

As for that list you posted grey! Killzone 3? Killzone 2 hasn't even had a chance to flop yet bad move i think they'll send out killzone 2 realise its a flop and then just stop wasting money on the third game and then sue sony and blame there lack of sales on the fact no one is actually buying PS3's unless they want a goeorge forman machine, a paperwight and a waste of space all in one!

They released a Dualshock because the rumble company was pushing it in that direction, and the fans were requesting it. Because sony listens to what their purchacers want. If no one cared about rumble, then they wouldn't be making one now.
A good example of a man who listens is Hideo Kojima. Not only does he use his own fantstic inventive mind, but he'll read up on what fans say, and improve to suit his fanatics however he can. He even allows his staff and workmen to help design the game (He gives his team a book each to write down ideaS, and if he likes them, he'll inclde them, eg: peaking round corners, over shoulder view).
Yeah Hideo Kojima's cool.

It's not HD... Putting it on an HD TV will make it look worse than the 6x6 inches or whatever size it is, that it's intended for.

Not exactly, ever watch HD anime? Hot damn, I never thought it would make a difference but Gurren-Lagann in HD is off the chain.

And Benirimm, you reall need to shut the fuck up, that's all you do is bash things and most of them aren't even out yet, nobody can say anything about anything until it's out. and even then 95% of it is biased babble because they refuse to believe something can be good. You're just the prime example of what most people on here need to not be, but most do anyway, and it's really retarded.

There's a huge difference between watching something in HD and watching it on an HD TV. Watching something in HD means it's been made for HD and has more pixels in the same space to show off images. What you have is an internet rip which is of less quality than a standard signal and seeing as a standard signal looks bloody awful on an HD TV then an internet rip will look even worse.

Well okay, the quality doesn't exactly change, but it's just mega-sweet for me to be able to just go to the video section of the xmb and simply select an episode of Yugioh Abridged. But ultimately HD isn't going to become standard for quite a while, but it is still nice to have, but not critical.

PS3 controllers FTW!

I'll always like the origional best, but I'ld like to buy these ones too if sony ever released them as special edition controllers. Like the transparent plastic version of the DualShock 1.
I also found this photoshopped version.

Imagine if they actually did something like that.

I have to say Xbox controller FTL!! The contoller scheme sucks on the Xbox and only a little better on the 360.

But I prefer SNES or GC controllers and PS controllers are just there to me, they're not new, not good and not bad so I don't care.

Ps2 controller is much worse for playing Soul Caliber than a GameCube controller. I have Soul Caliber 3 for ps2 and Soul Caliber 2 or GC. I is real pain to try to press two adjacent buttons to throw or do any other attack. Why dd they have to make Soul Caliber 3 for Ps2, and my game got erased, Wtf?

Soulcaliber has always been on the playstation, but it has also always been branching out.
There was the PS and Arcade versions of Soulblade
Then there was the Gamecube and PS2 versions of SoulCaliber ||
Afterwards, it went back in the arcades and the PS2
and now its on the PS3 and Xbox.
And whats wrong with DS controllers anyway.
You just have to put your thumb over 2 buttons at once.
Either that, or turn your hand around and use your index and middle finger.

I think you ment pockets! Why would gamers not want rumble? when did anyone say that? They already delyed to put sixaxis (after nintendo had just annoced out a near enougth identical feature for there next gen console! hummmm!) in so why not for a little longer for rumble?

The Sixaxis and the Wii-mote has very different types of technology and is very different in gameplay. The Sixaxis is only tilt heavy, ot motion sensory, while the WIi-mote is all around motion sense (and very good at that), so the PS3 did NOT copy a great tech into the dum down version of the Sixaxis.

And stop with the money thing, YES the PS3 needs more money going to it for one thing so that's what it has to do, and YES EVERY other console is using it's own way to steal money from all of us who have it, 360 being the worst.

I find the Game cube controller easier to press two buttons at the same time, thats all, for the playstation contoller end up pressing things that I didn't want to press.i found it difficult to press the two adjacent buttons, square and circle, to do a move in soulCaliber 3 so instead i would just suck the whole time and use only verticle and horizontal attacks or I'd use voldo with his smooth moves. But the dual shock is good for other things like Ratchet and Clank. Not to say it is terrible, i just think they could have put SC3 on the Gamecube and then my files wouldn't have been erased.

Don't be silly... just because it is different motion sensing technology doesn't mean they didn't include it in the PS£ just so they can look better by claiming they have everything Nintendo and 360 have.

Sony wasn't planning to use the Sixaxis straight away with the PS3; they have said several times that motion sensors were either something they were going to introduce later on in PS3's lifespan or in the PS4.
The only reason it was used in the PS3 straight away was so they could say they had everything Nintendo has, that's it. If they didn't have it then way too many people would agree that it was just a slightly shinyer 360.
