This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

This has got to be one of my favorite anime. Unfortunately I haven't seen it in a while, but I can definitely recommend it. Some say it starts out a bit slow but it picks up after episode 12 or so. Here's a quick summary off of Wiki:
Quote:
Eureka Seven tells the story of Renton Thurston and the outlaw group Gekkostate, his relationship with the enigmatic mecha pilot Eureka, and the mystery of the Coralians.
You can *coughfindatorrentcough* of it pretty easily, too.

So yeah, anyone else ever seen this anime? =D?

I love it. The problem I think most people have with it though, is that it starts of reeeal slow.

Agreed. I hear a lot of people saying they didn't like Eureka Seven, but I'm fairly sure most of them didn't watch beyond maybe 10 episodes. What I love about it is that it seems to take the mecha genre a little deeper than it normally goes. In series like Gundam, enemies will explode without any real impact, but in Eureka Seven, you fully realize that when you blow up an enemy LFO, you realize that you have taken a life (sometimes graphically).

Eurka Seven was a great anime, true it has a slow start before the story starts rolling together smoothly. The english dub isn't that great either... its not bad but not great either. Eurka Seven even holds some similarities with Evangelion, but its still fairly original in its story

I've seen it. I liked it at first, then it got into Renton's romance with Eureka, and it got REALLY corny. It was so corny I stopped watching it.

I caught the ending to, it was unbelievely corny as well.

I think the only good thing about it is that Johhny Yong Bosch does the voice of Renton.

Eureka 7 is one of the best mech anime I've seen, it's so damn good. one of the biggest cliff hanger ending I've seen too.

XD Yes, that part was actually EXACTLY what I was talking about. It was after that episode that I realized, "Huh... well you don't normally see that in mecha anime..."
