As the troll video said, this bill will allow the US government to do something I'm pretty sure they already have the power to do. At this point, US laws are just post facto justifications for stuff they are going to do anyway. Just look at Megaupload. SOPA would have given them the power remove sites like Megaupload for copyright infringement. As we all learned, the government already had the power to shut down Megaupload and SOPA was just a formality.

Sign all the petitions you want, the people in power are always going to get their way.
