This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Ender's Shadow. I like Ender's Game better, I think, but I am really getting into this one the longer it goes on.

Currently reading: Warriors: The Sign of the Moon.

Wouldn't expect anyone to have heard of the series.

I just finished the book Edenborn. Not bad, written by Carl Sagan's kid, sequel to Idlewild.

I'm about to start up one called Quietus. We'll see if its any good or not.

I am currently reading "The Golem's Eye" by Jonathan Stroud. It isn't bad, but it can get boring at times. It is the second book The Bartimaeus Trilogy.

Currently I'm rereading the Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan, and I'm about halfway through the second book, The Novice.

I haven't read the trilogy in at least a year, and I only decided to reread it when I found old of my old plans for BMT fanfics. I absolutely love the series, and I'd forgotten how absolutely amazing it is. I spent about an hour today trying to get my mum and sister into the series, after I successfully got them into The Hunger Games.

But back to the Black Magician Trilogy. Anyone who's interested in fantasy- or even people who aren't- READ THIS TRILOGY.

Right now I'm reading "The Mysterious Benedict Society," by Trenton Lee Stewart, "The Gift" by James Patterson, and "Incarceron" by Catherine Fisher. The former is a mystery book, and the two latter are both sci-fi and fantasy. THey're pretty good, and I'm almost done with all of them.

The Cardinal of the Kremlin by Tom Clancy.

It's so well written and for the time was considered to become a possibility. This book is making me feel sympathetic for the Afghanistans as their villages and towns are attacked by the USSR and the US right now is fighting in Afghanistan.

If you have read (or seen) The Hunt for Red October, this book continues on with the same protagonist Jack Ryan (played in the film by Alec Baldwin).

Simplified plot.
Pretty much the Soviets have this massive laserbeam which they are going to try and use on the American spy satellites orbiting over them. USA has to stop them w/help from some Afghanistans and a spy within a Russian Intelligence Agency.

I see why Tom Clancy is popular now.
He should write a story involving a children's card game.
Anyone with me on this idea?

There's a Customer Born Every Minute by Joe Vitale. It seems to be about the author's take on P.T. Barnum's ways of getting attention for his businesses.

I am currently reading the prophecies of long-dead mystics who promised the cruel demise that shall soon consume the world. Their screams of agony echo from every page... It is the most delightful read I can imagine, save for the tale I shall someday chronicle of this mortal world's demise.
