Personally indifferent. The only character I care about in the show is discord because he is chaos incarnate and nearly won. I like friendship is witchcraft because it is a very well done parody. But for the main show... eh. Its alright, generally kinda bores me but I can respect people who enjoy it because it is a pretty good show especially on what it is based on, just not my tastes V:

I would certainly hope not all of them are like that. But fandoms have a way of ruining any decency that might come from a series. Homestuck is the ultimate example of fandoms taking a series to hell.

Well, I've been a brony for over a year now, and whilst I do admit that there are a heck of a lot of... unsavoury... people in our fandom, and I know this is an incredibly light way of putting it, it's my opinion that the empty can rattles the loudest.

These small margins of the fandom are the most extreme, and thus they are the most noticeable, and as you can imagine, the effect snowballs, and a generalist idea of our fanbase is constructed by people who either don't know us or just want to see us die in a hole.

I will not deny that a good deal of us are annoying, not for a second will I deny that fact. but I think the basic problem is that this is obvious in every social group in ever, and bronies are a large group. So you see larger problems.

I tried out the show before I met the community, and that was what dragged me in. Then I saw the amazing art, and animations, the games, and the music and writing (which inspired me to begin composing and writing myself) and decided to see what the bigger part of the craze was.

Let me tell you, if you actually put a little faith in yourself and try delving into this fanbase, even for nothing more than a sneak peek. You'll be surprised at just how much there is for everyone to enjoy.

I've seen some of the show. Its cute. Its a great thing for kids to watch and can appeal to both boys and girls. But that's it. Its a kids show. But the problem isn't that you like the show, its that you feel the need to let everyone know you like the show. The whole brony mentality seems to be "Look at me, I'm a grown man that likes a show for little girls. Aren't I interesting?" It doesn't make you interesting, it makes you seem creepy and weird.

Its the same reason no one likes furries. No one cares what you get off on, but keep that shit to yourself. Why do bronies and furries demand acceptance from the general public? You aren't going to prove anything by dragging your perverted hobby out into the open. Its only going to further separate you from everyone else. Its okay to keep some things a secret.

(I'm not calling you out in particular, just bronies in general.)
