It's a good thing it is coming back, or i might have to take out my stabbing knife. Futurama is one of the best animated shows i have ever seen. I never get tired of it, unlike the Simpsons. Discuss everything Futurama-related. Characters, Episodes, Celebrity Heads, etc...

My favourite episode would have to be when Fry was dating the Lucy Liu robot. One of the first episodes i saw. I was truly hooked by that point.

Is it coming back really?? BRILLANT. Better than the Simpsons without doubt.

It has better stories than Simpsons, Better Characters than Simpsons and Character Development is better to. Got all the DVDs its fantastic. The Final episode was brillant and now it isn't fanatastic.

Well it's going to have Four straight to DVD movies, also gonna be on AS as episodes I believe, CAN'T WAIT!!

In the United States, the series aired from March 28, 1999 to August 10, 2003 on FOX, although its timeslot was regularly interrupted and pre-empted by sports events, and eventually went out of production. However, Comedy Central has entered into an agreement with 20th Century Fox Television to syndicate the existing episodes and air the new movies as new episodes in an episodic format as of February 2008.

Futurama is one of the best animated shows.
I'm afraid of it coming back because it might not be like the original but I'm also excited.

I love Futurama sooo much. I know they are bringing it back and all which i am happy about but they are only currently gonna bring it back for 14 eps i think...

4 of 'em, actually ( a la Family Guy - as was previously pointed out). They'll be straight-to-DVD releases and will be chopped up into episodes and aired on Comedy Central (which comprise the new episodes). They announced at Comc-con that the first DVD comes out November 27th. However, I'd be absolutely shocked if Comedy Central didn't buy at least one more season after the movies air.
