This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

you know that game with the advert that takes 3 hours to get through, then right after it you fight a boss, then die, then have to repeat that advert again...too many games lose awesomeness because of it.

o and the Water Temple on Zelda: OOT and Zelda: TP...i still like the games but knowing I have to that dungeon puts me off them.

After 2 years playing TP for the last time, I found the Water temple to be quite simple, maybe because my brain has expanded since Grade 8 :)

Yeah, same here. The water temple is pretty easy at this point. I find the sky temple in Link's Awakening to be more challening.

I hate the sand temple in Twilight Princess.

At first, the desert temple is really difficult (well for me) but after playing it about 6 times, you kinda know where to go after a while.

Yeah, I suppose.

Edbat: I disagree. The temple was hard, but you're not allowed to hate anything in Twilight Princess. That's my golden rule. XD

Besides, I actually thought that temple was fun.

Don't mind wokwok, he's obsessive with Zelda. He would have Link's babies.

FFVI EBOT'S ROCK

SHITDAMNPISSPOOP

Yes, let's collect coral to feed a treasure chest in order to battle an easy boss. For two hours.

FFX2's Chocobo Mission thing is up there too. In order to get 100% completion, it's necessary to raise chocobos and send them to random locations in order to uncover a dungeon to find an 'Amazing Chocobo'.

*hits self in head*

The things I do for game completion.

Something stupid or amazing? Like when your Wii fell off the shelf and the fan broke, meaning the only way to keep it running is to keep a fan blowing on it, and you bring the fan in, turn on THE GAME, play THE GAME, and forget to turn on the fan, resulting in THE GAME shutting off? Yea, that happened to my brother.

Speaking of which, you just lost the game.

Also, that sort of thing happens all the time when I'm playing Melee. The guy I play with most of the time used to play ICs, so he's really big on grab combos, chain throwing, and just plain grappling all the time. So what'll happen is I'll be trying to escape through the surefire way of button mashing my way out, and when I finally get out (or better yet, when he throws me) I'm DIing the wrong direction proportionately to how he's sending me, and I die in a situation where the DI would've saved me. Just one little anecdote in my tales of Smash failure.

Oh, and remember Sephiroth's KH1 incarnation?

The temples are straight foward. Seriously, you have to be 11 to think they're hard.

That is untrue! Why would I ever steal that oppurtunity from you? What do you take me for?

Come to think of it, your babies would be mutants, probably. Imagine it; a talking two-legged Umbreon with a sword.

The Golden Compass was horrible, and the ending left much to be desired, but it was definately the most WTF ending I have ever seen.
The only thing good with that game was the alethiometer, but you didn't get to use it much, and it was totally useless in the long run.
(I really hate movie-based games)

Any RPG that has you go through a dungeon. Then you have a 10 min. cut scene and you fight a hard boss. You die from the boss then have to watch the scene and fight again.

Xenosaga would be a good example, but it has the skip video option.

I finally got around to playing Sonic Unleashed earlier today and for the last 20 minutes I've been trying to get an "S" in the second sun stage....I just missed the "S" by like a tenth of second. Seriously, my time was 3'50'019...you need 3'50'00 for the "S".

Remember when the Angry Video Game Nerd kept trying to jump over that one-space gap in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 23236262 times, and then accidentally discovered the 23236263th time that he could WALK over it?

Yeah.

The final "Boss" Battle in Fable II
[ { You go through the whole freakin game with an intense hatred towards Lucien. He kills your sister, shoots you, kills your family and any kids that you may have had before you faced him, shoots your dog and kills it, then shoots you again and all it takes it one hit to end his life, or listen to his rant and have another character kill him.} ]

Yeah, that was the biggest WTF moment for me in a game.

I feel ya on that but my experience I'm listing from that game isn't based on time, it's based on knowledge. So yea I'm babysitting my nephew and I let him play Sonic Unleashed. I'm not paying attention and he eventually gets stuck at a wall in the city that you have to slide under to rescue the girl. Well I never played the game before so I mess around with the controls for a sec and then try to get under the wall and fail horribly over and over and over again. So I'm sitting there like "Wtf...work dammit" when my nephew says about 30 mins later "Maybe I have to buy something." I literally face palmed, handed him back the controller and went about doing what I was doing before.

Another experience like that was in the new Prince of Persia game (I love it btw) where you get to a part where you have to raise a couple platforms through a puzzle to get to a Seal that let's you fly. Well I did all that but whenever I was trying to jump onto the wall to get the seal I would glitch through it and stuff. So again I sat there trying over and over until I finally got it. Another part is where you have to jump over a slime area to the other side (pretty straight forward) but I couldn't get it right and was again stuck. I finally thought about trying the second jump capability that I never tried when not prompted to and I made it across.

So yea those are a couple of my WTF moments xD.
