This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

very clever. I wish it were longer though, or rather explained things more. that is to say that my curiousity is now piqued. aka good job, Neil.
He kept the mood right too.

"Science and Religion: Towards the Restoration of an Ancient Harmony" by Anjam Khursheed

While it's pretty much a butthurt response to the likes of Chris Hitchens and Richard Dawkins, it's still quite the history book.

Yes it is so far that I have read of it. I'm sad it doesn't have the Hound of the Baskervilles, that's my favorite.

My favorite ones out of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes are The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle,
The Boscombe Valley Murder, and A Scandal in Bohemia.
The Hound of the Baskerville's is also a great book. I love Sherlock Holmes! :D My brother got this huge book with all of Doyle's work in it. It's a must read.

Let's just hope he doesn't die before finishing ASOIAF (like the dude from "The Wheel of Time" did)

I got a new book for St. Nikolaus Day to bridge the time; "Naoko's Smile" by Haruki Murakai (I hope that's the right title in english, in german it's "Naokos Lächeln" but the japanese original title was "The forest(s) of Norway")

It was bad enough that Robert Jordan died (seriously, I'd like to know if the final books of the Wheel of Time saga would see the light some day), but Martin seems healthier than Jordan.

As for what I'm reading now, it's my Regulation of Metabolism textbook. Frigging exams.

I'm actually reading multiple books during this general time period. I'll list the 4 most interesting:
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green (it's about a guy that's dated 19 girls named Katherine and been dumped by all of them)
Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lubar (I identify a lot with this book since I was a freshman just last year)
1984 by George Orwell (This is just a really deep book. I just can't put it down once I pick it up...until I finish it.)
Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King (not as scary or adult as I expected from a Stephen King book.)
And, that's what I'm reading...
