You're talking about the [ 20 month long pregnacy thing ] right? I heard complains about that too, but i dont get it, when i read that i didnt thought it was weird at all it seems like something normal in the one piece world to me :/

Yes, that's what I meant. That's what I like about Oda's storytelling. He can describe crazy sounding events in a way that in the end I have no problem accepting them. Personally, I think most complaints about this twist come from people who read the spoilers first..

[ Whitebeard is truly awesome. Not only did he open the gates by himself, but he also made a really cool underwater entrance. ]

[ Whitebeard's entrance was badass. This chapter would be perfect if it wasn't for those ugly pirate captains. XD But hey, that's what real life pirates look like, anyway. Btw, we don't know who opened the gate, yet. Maybe it wasn't Whitebeard. They all had their ships coated (those 43 ships, too, I assume) so they wouldn't need the gates to open. ]
