New Spring Anime: Eden of the East
 Akira Takizawa on the left and Saki Morimi on the right. Well when I saw the first episode of this 11 episodes and then to be a big Movie...I was genuinely impressed by the fact that this anime actually uses American voice actors for english bits and the Intro is by an actual English band called Oasis and not generically a japanese band. So I saw the first episode and this anime seemed interesting enough for me to mention here. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called as "Careless Monday," does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later... Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory. and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's holding with the other hand. Other than the Oasis OP and the American VAs for American characters (that was a nice surprise), I am failing to see the big deal.

But hell this series if full of surprises, so there's no telling.

I just watched the first episode last night and I must say that it was pretty awesome and funny... I love the "little Johnny" gag. I also admire the fact that they bothered to get actual English speaking VAs for the Americans... I remember watching a show when the Jap VA tried to speak in English for a character, and you couldn't understand him at all!

At this point I'm really wonder just how much of what they're going to wrap up in the main series, and how much of it is going to get dumped into the movie...
I was sort of expecting the movie to be more of an OVA, but considering the number of characters we've yet to see, among other things, I'm beginning to think otherwise.

I have loved this series so far! I am just a little bit confused about this whole movie thing. Could someone explain this to me, or just send me the source? thanks!
Also, Im very excited for episode 7! It should be subbed in a few hours! too bad i will be asleep haha

There is supposed to be a big movie after the main series is over...
At any rate, I felt a little slapped in the face at the end of 7, but it still did well at what this series does: making you ask more questions.
