I was a fan of d-grayman up to the point where the show pretty much took a really long break due to the writers messed up hand and sickness. Soooo if the new english one turns out to go further than the show ill give it another peak again

It's a great series...that is all.

The anime ended with a cliffhanger because it was catching up to the manga.

So, I read the manga in less than a day.

Yea thats what I figured Id have to do. Defer to the manga for the continuation of the story. The cliffhanger was too much for my mental state of being O.O

I Read some parts of the manga and to my uprise the anime (as most do) dosent follow the manga quite the whole way. So I guess to ease my mind im going to have to read the manga from chapter 1

As usual, anime and manga have their advantages and disadvantages. I only read volume 1 of the manga, so I cannot compare them. All in all, it's one of my favorite seires. Although, I think Allen got a little cocky at around the episode when they were riding on the boat with General Cross's "girlfriend". He was pretty much like "we are powerful exorcists and our job is to save your sorry buts".

I absolutely love the manga! I watched part of the english anime which the voices are terrible. when they got to the episode with lavi in it, i died a little inside becuase he sounded terrible, but besides the point I love the manga. I find Kandas backstory really interstening.

I'm up to episode 26 or so in the anime (sub) and it's much better than I expected it to be! The genre somewhat reminded me of Pandora Hearts. So yeah; high hopes for this anime!(I'm rather picky) I've never watched one this long before...it'll be good to keep me entertained when I'm interstate for 2 weeks without internet :D
