I've only seen a few ads about it. Kind of want to see it.

I used to watch this on IFC a few years ago. I thought it was pretty boring and only watched it because Basilisk was on after it. It was a good concept, but i just found it to be dull.

I've watched up to episode 6 and it's pretty cool. Henrietta is also a total badass. |

I thoroughly enjoyed this anime.
The sequel was very good when watched all in one go now that it's all been released. |

In a nutshell:
Young girls who've undergone a special artificial enhancement program (usually after surviving an otherwise fatal occurrence) are trained to become super soldiers. Each of these super soldiers has a handler (who chooses how to treat/teach them based on their own personality/views). The first season (and the better one, in my opinion), is a series of non-linear stories meant to delve into the minds and actions of the girls as well as the handlers, as well as the effects of said artificial enhancing. |
