why do people get so butthurt looking for excuses to stop Ceruli, Guru of Dark World?
I swear, I have a hard time using that card on dueling network without someone trying to find some reason to tell me i'm cheating when I'm not. if ceruli is discarded, it summons itself to the enemy's side of the field. When ceruli is summoned by a dark world card, it forces the opponent to discard. Therefore, ceruli is often used as a catalyst to obtain the secondary effect of a Dark World monster.

I use a Roid deck usually. I equip Gyroid with Ring of Magnetism which really annoys my brother (his decks useless because he doesn't play a lot) or fusion summon an Ambulance Rescueroid with Vechroid Connection Zone so it can't be destroyed by Spells, Traps or Effect monsters and use its effect to keep bringing back Decoyroid in defence position (opponents monsters have to attack it).

I love LK's series and have taken the game itself very seriously. As it turns out, the majority of the fanbase is actually people in their 20's; okay, maybe not the majority, but the majority that make it anywhere professionally.
My father's friend came in 9th place in nationals of the United States 5 years ago. Unfortuanately, since we quit playing Yu-Gi-Oh recently and transferred to Magic: the Gathering, I'd prefer not to say who it was. All I know is that the game was so much fun and very exploitable, but hey, that's the point of the forbidden list. My hope is that Yu-Gi-Oh soon makes multiple formats in which certain sets of cards (pack sets) are allowed and others aren't. Yes, for all the nostalgic fans, a format that holds all the cards and a banned list would also be in order. Even though I don't play anymore, I need to have the respect for it, as Yu-Gi-Oh got me to be a nerd in the first place. Thank you! (no seriously, that's 100% sincere) Oh and one last thing: Yata Garazu is OP. Good thing it's banned.

Hmm oh man, I haven't dueled in some time...
I've still got my cards for my: spellcaster, dragon, machine, warrior, fire decks. Note: Those aren't all one deck, still got a shoe box of misc cards too... Man I miss playing for fun with my brothers and friends, especially since they let me use blue eyes shinning dragon in my blue eyes/dragon deck...

It is a blue eyes white dragon deck, trying to either bury and reborn them, or to get them to the hand and summon them with kaibaman. also blue-eyed maiden is very helpful. another key card is Dragon Ravine, a field spell that let's you bury a dragon from your deck every turn. opponents monsters are destroyed by mere force. spells and traps are either ignored, because you can bring the dragons back with monster reborn, call of the haunted, birthright, red eyes darkness metal dragon, blue eyed maiden, roar of the silver dragon and if they are banished with return from a different dimension, D.D.R. - different dimension reincarnation and burial from a different dimension (which is in the side deck), or they can be destroyed with solmen judgement or champion's vigilance. with 3 kings of the swamp, three polymerisations, 3 dragon mirrors and a fusion gate in the side deck, you summon the blue eyes ultimate dragon or the five headed dragon. If they are destroyed, you bring them back wit call of the haunted. raigeki breaker, mirror wall, mystical space typhoon an lightning vortex do the rest.

I don't really know if Blue-Eyes is capable of making a comeback with the current meta. From what I've seen before outright abandoning this game is that the meta goes through a few stages.
Stage 1: New banlists are released, and the previously game-breaking decks become severely nerfed to the point where they can barely keep up with the competition. Stage 2: New sets are released, introducing new builds designed to keep up with the previous metagame, with unique restrictions to keep them from becoming game-breaking. Stage 3: Some players start to figure out ways to bypass these limitations added to the new cards, causing three builds to reign supreme, and all others to suffer greatly against these builds. Back to stage 1.

I tried this deck against the common decks. they where of about equal strength. Of cause I couldn't win against shock master or the big eye, but that doesn't bother me. both cards should be forbidden and when I only lose because my opponent uses forbidden cards, that is no defeat.
The Big eye is one strong cards you don't even have to draw which allows you to take control of two opponents monsters permanently. snatch steal gives you opponent +1000LP each turn, only effects one monster, last only fr as long as snatch steal does, has do be drawn and can be countered by more cards. as long as snatch steal is forbidden, in my eyes the big eye is forbidden as well. Unless my Opponent uses totally op cards which are only allowed so that people will buy them, but which will be forbidden as soon as everyone spent money on them, the blue eyes white dragons are even with the new decks.
