This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Disciplinary spankings, if they misbehave.

I was spanked and I learned my lesson.

I was never spanked as a kid, and I turned out great...somehow.

An actual knowledge of what RESPECT is. I'm sick of everyone saying my generation has no idea of what respect is, because I do and so do a lot of my friends! It's just the idiots who were never taught by their parents how to respect others. My mother works at a primary school, and she's constantly seeing the other teachers yelled at by parents for not teaching their kids how to respect people. I'm sorry, but that's not the teacher's job. It's the parents'.

(Sorry for ranting a little.)

I agree with you Emelinee, I can't understand how some parents think it's the teachers job to raise their child. I think they just can't stand the responsibility, it's always easier to blame someone else. That's also something kids should learn: That their actions have consequenses of any kind, good and bad.

Other things children should grow up with:
Knowing they are not the only ones in the world
Wide variety of foods (let them try things out, otherwise they will never know what they like)
Art (drawing, clay figures,...)
Imagination (I used to make up stories with my mom about people walking down the street, it was really fun!)

I realize I'm late on this, but how can you have clothes that aren't colored?

I think he meant colorful, as opposed to neutrals or greys?

I reject your logic, madam.

Gray is a perfectly nice colour and is not due this sort of social bigotry.

I think children should all be taught what colors are in school. Including the difference between pigment color and light color. It's all pretty fascinating stuff.

* btw grey is a shade, not a color*

I agree with the general geography one. You would not believe how many people I know who think that Africa is a country. Or people who have asked me if Croatia was in America. Or who weren't aware that Estonia existed. Or...

What I'm really trying to say is that children should have a map of the world in their bedroom. Never did me any harm.
