Oh! and my college gives free stuff from their dental school, so if you're willing to let a student do work on you, you can probably get it for super cheap at the local dental college.

Yeah I lost a lot of stiff thanks to a skeleton. I finally rage quit over it for a few hours. Monsters are definitely taking more hits.

yeah, i don't like the combat changes at all..and they did make the armor less protective

i died to one wearing leather twice (first time i couldn't run from it, second time it was getting my stuff back) and killed it on the third try, meanwhile a normal one kept almost killing me from outside my garden and it took way too long to kill it, i swear the arrows do more damage than they used to, weaker armor or no

Perhaps we should set the difficulty down while we still learn the ropes of the new system so monsters don't become even more of a problem than they already are. I have a bunch of projects that Kinda live or die based on how much I can stay alive while doing them. And being killed repeatedly would turn me off for sure.

I have been adapting to the combat changes. In terms of weapons, I prefer axe now as single target and high damage, like the old sword. Approach mobs, hit them hopefully before they get close enough to hit you, back away, then hit again. Mobs seem to do more damage in 1.9, hearts regenerate faster, and it burns more hunger.

btw my new house is at 0-about 60-0 im working on redstone things but lacking a lot of slime balls...and omg i dont think ill be able to get some for a lot of time, i got killed by the monsters more times than i fell from my buildings while making them, just in one day

there's a swamp to the south-east of the valley you spawn near, but do be careful since i've been killed twice over there already

i made an underground path connecting my house to face`s village, and was received by a cow when i got out

then i went to oceans house to check coords and saw that beautiful garden , and all the creepers and zombies wanting to kill me they killed me 2 or 3 times but thanks to my underground path i didnt lose anything
i guess the next step is to build another sky city and connect everyone
