It looks like this opinion belongs in the "Movies Everyone hated EXCEPT you" thread, methinks.

Avatar, far too over rated. X-Men Origins: Wolverine, completely different to the comic series (which I read first) and didn't go into enough detail about Wolverine's real past (unlike the comic series). Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the only reason I watched them was because of Megan Fox and other than that they sucked (compared to the 1986 film Transformers: The Movie).

The first Twilight.
Throughout the whole movie, I felt like "Wow, this is a great story, I like this forbidden love theory!" And the last 5 minutes ruined the whole movie for me. I felt like I've been Rickrolled. I'm not going to bash it, but I... it's not my cup of tea. I even tried watching it's sequel but... no, just not for me. I really tried. |

All Star Wars related crap.
All Star Trek related crap. Bruno. (I couldn't get to the 45 minute mark without being disgusted) Pokemon 2000. That's all I can think of right now. |

Avatar. For reasons I don't even know, I just couldn't stand it. I tried watching it through to the end, but I just hated it all and stopped about two-thirds of the way into the film.
I also hated I Am Number Four. I read the book ages before the film came out and really enjoyed it, but I really disliked the film, and was more than a little disappointed by it. I think they could have done a much better job with it, and I couldn't understand why everyone else around me thought it was so fantastic. I hope no one hates me for saying this, but Deathly Hallows part 2 just felt like a huge disappointment for me. I was so excited about it, but when I finally saw it, I just felt let down. It seemed rushed and flat to me, and it could have been done so much better. Finally, The Woman In Black. Don't even get me started on that pile of crap. |

I don't really know why, but I didn't like Batman: The Dark Knight Rises

You're not alone in that opinion. I liked the movie despite its flaws, but I have to admit some of the actions and motivations of the characters are completely baffling.

The first one and only one that comes to mind right now is Avatar. Everyone was like "This is the greatest movie ever!" I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It was pretty good,. I just wasn't jumping up and down with joy like a lot of people were about it.

I don't really "hate" any movies, but a recent flick that I felt was overrated was Lincoln. Daniel Day Lewis was really the one who kinda pulled that movie into it being attentive for me. Granted, this was a historical biopic and I'm not a fan of those, but most of the subjects and themes in the movie already have been touched upon before.
I also feel the same way for War Horse. Depressing as sh*t and like we need more films about World War I. And horses. :| |

Same here, everyone gets surprised when I say this. I guess it wasn't bad per say but it just isn't my cup of tea.

The Waterboy, I didn't hate it, but the humor was lacking while the story was intresting. I felt like it wasn't funny enough to be a comedy, and it wasn't serious enough to be a movie to be taken seriously.

the Matrix,
because first of all, they present the "they use humans as energy source"-thing as something that makes at least remotely sense. the whole reason for establishing the Matrix was so stupid. Second, the Matrix itself. it is a virtual world over which the robots rule as divine creatures of infinite power, who can change the fabric of space and time and the rules of physics however they like it. so why do their "agents" need to have a physical form? the morals were... "Everyone lives a more or less happy live. So let's take that live away from them and let them live in a desert without sunlight instead." |

Judging by my dad and earnings data, Oblivion. Thought it was the dumbest movie I'd ever seen except Man of Steel, but I already know that a lot of people didn't like that movie either.

Pulp Fiction.
I usually tend to like action fics. But this one was way too talky and had far too much boring down time in the car while they were driving from one place to another. |

Well it's a Quinten Terantino film. I don't think you're going to get much action. Just...wacky camera angles and talking.

I'm gonna get throttled for this, but Lord of the Rings. And I'm serious. I just couldn't get myself to enjoy the damn movies. The only time you see me watch it, is when someone is over and we're using it as a drinking game. Every (3) gay moments, you take a drink. (Because all the homo moments come in 3's.)
Twilight movies need to be wiped off the face of this planet. They can just GTFO right now. |

that's not true, because I didn't like the lord of the rings either.

So, apparently, everyone loved Frozen, and I mean LOVED Frozen. I finally got to see it. It was ok in my opinion, but it didn't live up to the hype. To me, one of its weak points was the music.
