overall i'd go see a dragonball z movie...it could be horrible or awesome...who knows...but i'd see it...but first thing first is they definetly have to get the right actors that would go with it...im not sure who but they definetly need actors that can do it...also...what would it be base off...cuz if they just tried the saiyan saga and whatnot...itd pretty much be a retellin in live action mode...but then again pretty much most of the Comic book characters are just retellin of a comic or two thrown together...but id like to see this movie made... <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley8.png'>

I did some reasearch online....
 (the lead actor acording to the Wikipeadia entry)  According to a fan site based on the live action series a photo of him as Goku I might just have to see this movie for how retarded it will be... Kind of like street fighter... or the second mortal kombat film only 10 times worse...

I can kind of see the Picalo one... But Goku should be Asian really. Picalo they could get away with because hes a green alien...
But the Goku one... he looks too western... Goku by rights should at least be played by somone whos Asain. As it is an Japan based character. *smacks head against wall* Why does the western world have to steal characters like this?!?! It was bad enough when Sarah michelle Gellah took part in the rape that is known as the Grudge remake. Hopfully the movie will flop bringing not only crippling the directors credability but also the two actors shown above for taking part. I might let James Marsters off actaully, given the right make up and remove the leather jacket he could possibly pull it off. But the other guy... No.

Anyobody yes, they don't have to be asian, especially since it's gonna be an american movie. I mean whoever is gonna play Samonosuke in the Onimusha movie may not be japanese, Dante may not be an asshole in the DMC movie, and who knows what Snake will look like in the MGS movie.
It can always be pulled, just whether or not it will is the problem and you can only judge that after it's released.

Please. If you think Goku looks Asian at all you're out of your freakin mind.
And Both versions of the Grudge movies sucked hard. No one got mad at people making Kingpin Black in Daredevil. BUT NOOOO One we screw with our wonderful DBZ characters who are cartoons and have no real racial make up unless stated. Also Goku isn't Japanese. He's a freakin Alien too./rage

I'm guessing they redo the whole Goku hitting his head and forgetting his mission thing with crappy voice overs and dubbing, they probably do frieza or saiyan saga but really crap and short, Vegetas actor is bigger then he should be cause Vegetas a midget and they fight with some crappy 3-d graphics a moral comes out of it. the end +_+

I think it was... sort of... ish.
but yeah what makes me laugh is the fact that Goku, Gohan, and alot of the others are Japanese names and yet they are using White acters. Oh well, I'll still see it just like the fact that I bought The live action Street Fighter(nobody read that...)

That it is Shadow, however I can't see that animation with the super over the top fights of DB, while Advent Children isn't as good, it pulled off the crazy fights well.
and Xear, there's another Street Fighter movie being made, can't wait for that!
