Anybody else gonna see this? I kinda had my doubts about it when I first heard about it. The seasons aren't what they used to be. Then, I saw the previews and it looks hilarious.

I heard they've been working on it since 2003, which would explain the dip in quality around then. They were distracted.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Movie. It looks good, but I... I just can't be hurt again!

Defiantly! There's no way I'm not seeing this! They said they did a lot of "Beta Testing" with the movie and rewrote or cut out parts that didn't get laughs.

I believe this could be the grandest film ever made about a group of yellow skinned peoples fighting for their survival. A noble cause.

I am going to see it. Just because its the Simpsons, and the Simpsons are epic no matter what anybody thinks. I don't if it will be good though.

I saw the trailer, and the style of the show does not seem to have been sacrificed for a movie.

I have a feeling it will be like every movie based on a cartoon show(Cept Beavis & Butthead). That means it will be not that good but I will still go see it.

The series hasn't been the best as of late. And I am worried it will be one long episode. But I will see it. It looks dead funny.

I'm going to see it despite the fact that I think they've probaly shown all the best bits in the trailers over and over again and it won't be all that great, I'm a Simpsons fans and I like watching the older episodes...

Although i am a huge simpsons fan and watch at least one episode almost every day (it is shown very often in Germany), i don't think that i will watch the movie in cinemas, because sadly the german synchro sucks very much lately here in Germany. Last year both the Voice actress of Marge(and Petty&Selma) and the Dubbing Director (also the voice of many minor characters) died and the replacement sucks ass, because they hired a well known comedy-actress instead of professional dubber.
But i will definately DL the english version, although the original Marge isn't as good as our old German Marge. (It may be that i'm just used to it, may be that she didn't had such an anoying voice)

I too, am hyped to this film, in fact I want to see it twice. But I heard in an interview with the BBC and Matt Groening that in the American viewing, they're going to censor Bart's brief nudity but not in the UK. The film is passed as a PG here but with NO CUTS made.
