This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I'll watch it when it come out on DVD. There's to much hype about it and the promotion stuff on fox every 2 min. is really getting annoying. besides I really do hate to be one of those people who loves the latest thing. Just like I really don't like main character for the most part.

I saw it yesterday. It was actually quite funny. And nobody saw it coming when everybody saw [ Bart's penis. For a PG movie, that was a shock. ]

Like Click, it has a surprisingly cincere part, when [ Homer watches Marge's video. Something about her voice and how her patience has been finally exhausted almost made my brother cry. ]

And [ Dr Nick dies. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo,,,,, ] Better cheer myself up with a song:

[ Spider-pig, Spider-pig.
Does whatever a Spider-pig does.
Can he swing from a web?
No he can't, he's a pig.
Look out! Here is a Spider-pig!

I saw the movie last night. And yes, it was quite funny. I totally agree with jedibowser about the plot.
*Kind of spoiler ahead*

Lol Green Day. Honestly though when they bring out the violins, that joke is to old.

I heard that they tried to fit in as many characters as possible, even if it was for one split-second. If that's true, I know they missed out at least one.

Where's Snowball II?

Is it just me being paranoid or did they really made an evangelion reference when homer was halucinating and had his epiphany? When he made up his mind and the trees around him began congratulating him, i really had to think of the last episode of NGE.

The whole movie was full of references to other movies. Escpecially the obligatory Disney-animal part was really funny.

I have to say, I thought exactly the same thing while watching that scene.
I was like: "Oh my, this reminds of Evangelion; but this can't be--The Simpsons and some Evangelion reference. Dude, no way ".
Guess we're just paranoid, yes sir. A cup of tea?

Now, about the movie itself, well, it was far better than I expected it to be. Seriously, some people had told me it was horrible and even dull, but I actually liked it. It wasn't very good, that is, but it was entertaining enough for a Simpson's movie.
The references where cool, and some parts really made me laugh, like Maggy fighting Mr.Teeny and the Spider-pig part, which is great. In overall, it was a satisfying movie experience.

It's basically a 2 hour-long episode. It wasn't intensely amazing theatrically, but I love the Simpsons, and it was pretty good. The extended time gave it a chance to explore more plots and gags, so it was all good.

To be honest, when I first of this, I had SERIOUS doubts about it.

I got to see it at midnight when it came out. It ruled. It was a little raunchier than a normal Simpsons episode. I'd say it was Family Guy caliber raunchy. Although there was some serious Bart Simpson fan service. And Green Day died in the first five minutes. I haven't ever laughed that hard at a movie. If you even remotely liked even one Simpsons episode, the movie is a must see.

I loved this movie, I saw it on Friday. I thought the plot was good and I don't really watch the show but when I saw trailers for the Movie I thought I have to go see this. I laughed so hard watching this movie. 4 stars and I can't wait to buy it on DVD. Homer's hilarious, some of it reminded me of Family Guy. I do watch Family Guy.

The part where Lisa punches Bart was worth the entire ticket.

"Lisa's got a boyfriend! That she'll never see again!"

I had been really sceptical about this movie. To my relief it was hilarious. It really brought me back to the days when the series was the best on television.
