I was never THAT overly fond of Vampires so there wasn't much to ruin for me.
But I enjoyed Buffy the Vampire Slayer ;-)

I always planned to read at least one Anne Rice novel, partly because of the controversy about them. (Either you HATE it or you LOVE it. I wanna see which side I'm on)
The disappointment in Twilight has reignited that wish (because every Anti-Twitard says Anne Rice is better).

I hate modern vampires, as the modern writers completely god-mob them and seem to think that need to feed some pre-pubescent sex-fetish .

-I like the old school stories, where they were actually intense, interesting and deep characters, rather than pages and pages of mindless dipple on how sexy the main characters vampire partner is and then the rest, being about the main character completely selfish wants as she makes everyone do as she wishes all time and never ever loses, no matter how stupid story has to be, for this to happen
=PS and no I'm not on about Twilight right now

Just thought I should share my experience

...I was is FYE and they have Edward Cullen dolls, and after closer inspection, I realized that they made this doll have SPARKLES PAINTED ONTO HIS SKIN!! It made my day seeing that, it was soo ridiculous!
