I freaking hate it when people make Ryo some suicidal character that can't make his own decisions! Ryo is actually strong! The sheer fact that he wont give up even though he is possessed by an evil spirit bent on taking over the world proves that. He's not just some arrogant, naive kid that can't do anything. And he's definitely NOT depressed! He's just unwillingly serving as Bakura's host. And I can't see any relationship between the two, so quit pretending he's Bakura little plaything or torture device. If ANYTHING, he's just another tool that Bakura needs to accomplish his goal. I probably wouldn't dislike tendershipping if most of the fanbase didn't make them like this, but alas.

I never had the impression that Ryou is scared of Bakura. A few weeks ago I wrote an oneshot about their first 'meeting'. Well, I did my research and read that parts in the manga and I had to think about the scene in Death Note when Light sees Ryuk the first time. The first reaction is: WTF but then this other beeing is too interesting to ignore.

As I stated many times: Ryou is probably one of the emotionally strongest characters in the whole show. He deals with so much shit, I find it amazing that he never snaps, he still manages to be polite and happy throughout EVERYTHING. To me the only way tendershipping really works is the fact both Y.Bakura and Ryou have gone through a ton, and (to me) it would almost be a redemption thing. Bwa this is comming out 6 times more crappy then I hoped, have some a pic and I'll shut up.

 anyways back on topic, Ryou is way under-rated and would never be some suicidal depressed emo kid. This is the person who managed to deal with the fact that his mother and sister died and he has an evil spirit living in him that wants to kill his friends and still not show any type of mental breakdown.
