Strangely enough, I've watched Ai Yori Aoshi and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni in pair.
Now I'm watching Shuffle! and Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. I'm not sure if I'm enjoying shuffle enough, but I loved Ai Yori Aoshi and Higurashi, heck, Umineko is proving to satisfy my thirst for an actual intellectual (not sure about logical, but since when is "When They Cry" logical?) anime. I'm actually starting to realize that I can't stand anime too well if it is soley based on 'awesome' action and gets highly popular because martial arts and stealth are awesome and get more and more episodes and chapters with an entirely new plot out of nowhere and the main character's main goal is being at the top. (glaring right at the Naruto series, in which I've only been interested in for looking for that piece of CANON NaruHina [plz don't bash me])

:I've been looking around anime sites for new stuff. It's all a bunch of slice of life anime that will only last 12 episodes though. Those pop up more than needed.
But, To Aru Majutsu no Index season 2 is looking interesting. Still plenty of sexually abused nuns and schoolgirls with guns. Just the way I love my japanese anime logic!

I'm watching Death Note, Junjou Romantica, Bleach, and (of course) the subbed version of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
Hetalia, hmm, I've heard a lot about that show, but I've never actually watched it. So, may someone tell me what it's about?
