And we don't allow signatures because our admins don't really like them... I think that most of us feel like signatures would just clog everything up. Lack of signatures keeps things simpler. :)

You could always trying placing a signature in the "blurb" section of your profile. Just click on User CP, go to Edit Your Details, and scroll down to Additional Information. Don't forget to fill out the rest of your profile while you're there.

yeah, the blurb is pretty much a signature but not annoyingly placed.

I think someone somewhere said that signatures were to distinguish users before avatars came around, and are now pretty much in the way.
