Cherokee i can see since they used to have a good chunk of the state (and surrounding ones), but Korean? that was actually surprising
also, how random is it that Hawaii is also Navajo? the south-west is understandable, but Hawaii? also, so much German |

Actually, I can explain Hawaii for two separate reasons.
1.) Tagalog is Filipino/polynesian. Polynesian =/= native american, and Native Hawaiians are polynesian. 2.) Lots of interbreeding between new mexico and Hawaii. Super serious. Also most of the Hawaiian inmates are sent here and vice versa. |

:V Yes, I know, I'm telling you that's cause there aren't a lot of Native Americans in Hawaii, A POLYNESIAN ISLAND that happens to be an american state. Their natives fall in another category. Also, explained the navajo thing. :P

The headline for the first picture was something like, "The third most spoken language in your state may surprise you."
Michigan = Arabic Dearborn has the highest Arabic population in the United States. Not. Surprised. Michigan is actually from a word in Ojibwa that means great lake. lol I wonder why they would ever name the state that. :P |
