IMO, Ryou and Miho certainly are cute together, but they are very hard to ship. Ryou didn't have too big a role in Seaaon Zero and Miho simply wasn't in the rest of the anime :P
I will confess here and now that I normally go for the guy x guy pairings, purely because I'm a shonen-ai fangirl and because Yu-Gi-Oh has quite a predominately male cast. ^^ Still, I take your point. I could see this happening quite easily. The only flaw I could find is that during the events of the manga, Ryou's mind is pretty messed up (and who wouldn't be with a Yami who possesses your body in order to trap people in RPG figurine characters???) and he mightn't go in for a relationship with anyone unless forced (thus, Tendershipping :P JKjk, while unrealistic, it is adorably cute.)
Still, it's a lot more realistic than some of the pairings I've read ^^

Uh, Miho is alright and all, but to me she's far from awesome and epic as Ishizu <3 and also Miho sounds really annoying. I don't mind het parings, though.

I'm in agreement there. Ishizu is, again IMO, a better character than Miho. Miho was the bashable character before Tea/Anzu's friendship speeches decided to flourish out of nowhere. She's cute, certainly, but something about her just screams 'Mary Sue' at me. Perhaps it's the way she's overly demanding, but still doesn't do much...
But Ryou, on the other hand... He triggers that 'OMG you're so cute you're coming home with me to live on the mantlepiece and suffer numerous hugs' sense I have. I'm not sure about other people... Maybe that's just me

Speeches are part of the series, it's just a fact of it. No one bitches when Atem/Jounouchi/Kaiba makes a speech about friendship/becoming a true duelist/being powerful alone (respectively), but God forbid Anzu should actually try to help her friends. Miho's not really a Mary-Sue, she has faults, for example, she's a manipulative little brat who won't take anything seriously, definitely not someone Ryou needs to be stuck with. Mary-Sue? No. Annoying little freak, yes. And she wants to marry a 'rich person' as the season zero anime states.

I don't really know where this massive love for Ishizu comes from. It's not as if she actually does anything or has any personality beyond a stereotypically loving big sister devoted to her family, she's pretty cookie-cutter.

Hm, Miho is alright, but I don't really like her being paired up with Ryou.
It just seems like Miho is annoying Ryou, and it makes me feel kinda bad for him.
And I definitely wasn't proud of her when she suddenly jumped to the conclusion that Ryou will walk her to the stage or something if she wins the Popularity Contest.

I'd rather like Miho with Tristan/Honda.

Personally, I don't really like Miho. She just kept hitting on every cute guy she saw and not even paying attention to Honda (Tristan), who had a major crush on her. Honda and Miho look like a cute couple in my opinion....

Miho got on my nerves and Anzu is a much more likeable female character (I know Anzu did some stupid things, but don't most if not all the characters do dumb things at times?). I really want to like Tieshipping, but I really think Honda can do better than her and get someone who deserves him. I feel sorry for him. :( I prefer it over her and Ryou though.

The only issue with Miho is we dont see if she, like Rebecca, gets somewhat better with time
