New people trying to register
It seems the ability to register is still disabled (I assume it was due to a bot attack or something). Someone was on the irc earlier and they mentioned that they werent able to register since its disabled. Unless there are some problems with the thing itself, you guys may want to consider enabling it again.

Did anyone see this post when it came through or did it fall through the cracks? Just noting the last new member is a month old now.

I didn't notice it. I don't know why registration was disabled, although I would assume that a bot knew how to get through since I believe that we've had to ban at least one recently since he added new security measures.
If you know of someone who wants to register on the forum, that person needs to contact Face directly, and he will open registration specifically for that person, and then once they are registered he will close it again. |

Is it really neccessary to do all this?O_o I mean, I thought the whole point of new people having to answer that question about YGOTAS was to make sure bots couldn't register.

Don't ask me why people actually make bots - the world is just evil sometimes. :/ At any rate, I'm sure that security measures increase as we find more breaches. After all, there are still new people who register at this site. All we try to do is make sure that bots don't register. When they register in clumps, the mods may or may not catch all of them. I believe it's temporary. I just messaged Face so my friend could join.

It's always temporary if it ever happens. We'd never close registration permanently.
