This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Default I want to start up a forum version of Death Note Mafia in the games section, but...

Would that be alright? We have Mafia, and we have a Death Note Game. I saw that the rules said no repeats, but I'm not sure that this would be considered a repeat. Death Note Mafia shares some traits of both games, but I think of it as fairly different. I'd really like to try running a forum version of it, but I wanted to get some feedback before I put the effort into making a thread and coming up with a way to play it on a forum without it getting too complicated.

There are already two version of Death Note and a Mafia game. How would your game be any different?

Honestly, I read the rules and such for the Death Note game, and I think Death Note Mafia as a whole is very different. It's much more similar to Mafia, but I believe the roles are different, as well as how it is carried out. I can't really say much more. This game was played with cards in real life, so I'd need to convert it so that it could work online. But that would take a lot of effort, and I don't want to bother if the mods won't allow it.

Sorry, have you checked the other thread that you made?

What killshot is saying that aside from the regular Death Note game, we also have Mafia TFG and another Death Note game. Look at those games before you decide that yours is different enough from the rest of them.

If you make one yourself, that's 4 Mafia/Death Note games on the forum.

I just wanted to make sure staff wouldn't delete it after I put a lot of work into making it.

We won't bother with that. But with 3 other Mafia/Death Note games here, you may have better luck setting up on another forum. You may not get much playtime here. I could be wrong, though.

I don't believe I'm really a member of any other forums where there are enough active members for something like this. I'm just kind of hoping it will work here. I can't do anything until I'm able to see PMs again, though, since that will be an essentialy part of the game.
