Hey guys!
So you've all been waiting super patiently for the results of the Caption Contest extravaganzathon. And I've been working diligently at... not picking a winner. So without further ado, here comes the announcement. The grand final winner is... BekBoo20! Congratulations, Beks. Your prize is a free Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged t-shirt of your own choosing. Be sure to send us a message letting us know which one you'd like. As for the runners-up, namely a_lawrence, tsk, and digitLninja, you each get a free copy of Meet The Spartans on Blu-Ray! And if you don't have a Blu-Ray player, I highly recommend using the discs as coasters. They'll be a great conversation piece. DigitLninja, we still haven't received your details for the dispatching of the prize, but if you don't feel comfortable sending us that information, it's fine. We'll just give your Blu-Ray to Kroze instead. So stay tuned next week for a brand new Caption Contest whereupon we'll kick this sucker off all over again. In other exciting news, both Kroze and myself have been confirmed as guests at AnimeNEXT! That's right, after last year's insanity where I managed to skype into a random "Abridged Panel", this year they're actually going the whole hog and flying me out there to do... something! Also, from urban dictionary: Off the hook: "fresh" or "new." Off the chain: a great deal of fun, or very attractive Therefore, considering that LK's technically been to AnimeNEXT once already, I'd say it's more off the chain than off the hook. |

Chained memory
Personally I say "Off the chain" is better. The reason being that while working at a summer camp there was another staff member who was from Austria who said, "Brownie off the chain." and it was so awesome because he sounds like Arnold Schwartzeneger (hopefully that is spelled correctly) and even said "I am going to pump you up." for a video of the staff.
