I thought the animation was good in this sometimes, considering how fast it was supposed to be. But Pain's expressions were fucking stupid and there were just a lot of ridiculous moments. And where the hell did all that water come come from?

I have to disagree. Naruto is a crappy anime great manga.
Bleach is the better anime and crappy manga. One peice is an epically awsome manga. And I hear the anime is pretty garbage.

It's too many eps for me to watch right now, seeing how I only want to see the fights. That's impossible on Youtube, since everyone makes shitty AMVs instead. (btw, at ch 405 now)

I like both Naruto and Bleach, but I find the storyline of Naruto to be more personally compelling. Bleach seems to be exclusively about Shinto, the Japanese national religion of ancestor worship, and as a result the story doesn't resonate with me too much.
Not that Naruto's plot isn't religious -- far from it. It's pretty clear that Naruto is well on his way to becoming the reincarnation of the Sage of the Six Paths, a not-at-all veiled reference to Buddha. But Naruto's story has been dealing with the lessons and philosophies of Buddhism as regards the pursuit of peace and well-being in the living world, as opposed to the comings and goings of ghosts. Speaking of Naruto, I'm having trouble finding out the name of a track from one of the Naruto OSTs. It's the triumphant flute and (I think) Sanshin (Japanese banjo) fanfare that almost always heralds Naruto curb-stomping a bad guy for good. For instance, it's the music that starts at 1:23 in this scene. Any ideas? Yes, I intend to purchase the appropriate CD if I can.

Dei is so going to die again, if for no other reason than old kage is going to use the fact emoboy is still alive as a way to screw with him. Which is sad, one does love an artist.
Husband's comments on the chapter ----> "If the turtle is already f*ed up and it didn't actually *do* anything for the 'hide naruto' part of the plot what was the f*ing point of even doing it?" [ I told him it was because everyone loves Dr. Doolittle. ]

You realize you can swear on the site, right? It's not forbidden.
Also, someone has to kill Kabuchimaru. Otherwise, [ when they FINALLY kill Madara, Kabuchimaru can just revive him... ... Boy, wouldn't that be a kick in the pants. Reviving all Akatsuki, and having to kill them ALL, AGAIN. Although, technically, you can't revive Hidan. ]
