I bought the whole series on DVD! It's totally my favorite anime after Pandora Hearts! I have a hard time choosing a favorite charater...I can't decide between Hikaru, Kaoru, and Tamaki. The manga is good as far as story goes but the art is completely different and I don't really like it much but if you're not picky about art you should read it. I am super duper obsessed with it though. I can quote like the whoe freaking thing...I know I keep changing the subject...do I? but my favorite part is the Twincest!!!!! ^_^

Ouran's my favorite anime! I've watched the series twice and I'm caught up w/ the English release of the manga.
I recommend the manga; it's true the art style is kind of different, but they've gone way past where the anime ended and some stories in between were left out. I really wish some of the newer story plots would be developed into the anime -.- that'd be so cool... I love Nekozawa, the Twins, and Mori >//< They're all so epic! I want a Beelzenef puppet so badly!

Ouran Host Club. I really like how it's both a parody of anime yet still manages to stay original with interesting characters at the same time.
I love the twins best of all. (no comment on the incest part except that it isn't cannon, er... probably) I think the idea of twins who want to be told apart and yet don't was really an ingenious idea. The way they talk at the same time is kinda cool and the 'Which One Is Hikaru?' game is just so many shades of dark psychological awesome. They also did a good job of getting voice actors that sound both alike and different at the same time. I wonder why they didn't use the same voice actor? I'm not complaining, but I think that would have made them seem a bit more alike. Then again, it's nice being able to tell them apart by that too. I'd have to say Kaoru is my favorite twin, for the reason that he seems a bit more aware of things than his brother and is a little bit more mature. That no one seems to understand his 'pumpkin' metaphors is just adorably hilarious! The manga isn't too different from the anime art style once you get into the later volumes and has a lot of stories that are just as good as the anime. I'd really suggest anyone who likes the anime to check it out!

It's my favourite anime, so i'm glad the manga's good!! my favourite character is Honey-sempai... he's just so adorable, but the twins and their twincest is so so funny!! so what your favourite episode and why??

My mate got me to watch the anime, and I absolutely loved it!
Gotta love the twins. The character development with them is just magnificent. And its probably the last coupla episodes for me. I actually felt in my heart as though I really cared for the characters-which is a very rare event with me.

I loooovvveee both the anime and the manga. I only wished they would continue the anime out more. They could put so much more into it like how Tamaki's and Haruhi's relationship advanced. but nontheless i love it!

I just couldn't get into it, me and two mates sat and watched it and gave up at episode 2, even the guy who brought it round and had watched it all before says he remembers it being better when he first watched it.
OHC, fun to parody, not so much fun to watch.

Yay! I love this show. It made me actually laugh out loud on several occasions, which doesn't happen very much. Also, the ending made me cry like a little girl.
My favorite character would have to be Tamaki. At the beginning I thought It'd be Kyouya, because I usually am a sucker for the cool, calculating type, but Tamaki is just so adorable! The twins are a close second, though. I support the love for them so far in this thread, lol. <3

Just watched the first episode...
I am now terribly, horribly, ecstatically addicted. HOORAY!!! The characters are so interesting, the humor is incredible, and I can't wait to see where the plot will go from here!!!

(and so does my TOTALLY STRAIGHT-GIRL FRIEND-HAVING brother) [ seriously though...he's straight ] Anyways, I like it because it's laughtastic. Favorite line was probably in the second or third episode when Tamaki poked fun at everyone being gay and since that he and Haruhi were the main characters they were love interests from the start. Favorite episode is when you are introduced to Honey-Sempai's little brother. I love how he calls him an alien because he is uber strange. I love how in the one scene it's late at night and all you see is Honey and his stuffed rabbit eating hoards of cakes. It was precious. [ PS The outtakes for this show are really funny, too. You can just look them up on youtube. ]

I'm an Ouran fan too.
:3 Loved it. Was kinda sad to see the anime end so fast. It was only a couple of episodes wasn't it? Like 12 or something? Anywho, I'll never forget the characters =w= they really are very unique. The story is also... eh... what's the word I'm looking for... versatile? 0.o ... meant that as a compliment.

My friend bought the whole box set the other day. Its AWESOME! ^o^
Ouran is one of my all time FAVORITE animes. My favorite characters are a tie between Honey and Haruhi. =3 ~~~ Nord, Ouran is an anime about a girl named Haruhi Fujioka, who accidnetlly breaks a vase worth 800,000,000 yen, and is recruited into an all boys host club that entertains girls in order to pay off the debt. i looovvvveeee tamaki! i think he's sooo sweet how he wants to help everyone, even if it doesnt help him at all. and how he's in love with haruhi but doesnt understand it at first... *squee* he's so sweet! i got angry when eclair was being so controlling. and the last few episodes were so intense... my face was literally inches away from the screen! i really, really felt like i knew the characters and i cared about them and i wanted to be there to help! i was going crazy, i couldnt stand it!!
i havent read the manga yet, as i have just finished watching the series over the past few weeks, but that's next on my agenda. i love the twincest too, and i love the twins. but tamaki's still my favorite. hes so cute. and stupid. and adorable. and i wish he was real so i could CUDDLE HIM.
