*Cough* Hello...
All righty. I'm JoJo, and I've been hired as the shirt designer for TAS. I've gotta say, it's a lot of fun. I want you guys to all know a few things. First, I am taking into account what kinds of thing y'all want as shirts. This does not mean that every single request is going to be made. (Just not possible, ya know.) But I do lurk around in this forum to get an idea of what you guys want to walk around wearing on your chests. I'd like you all to know that I'm taking this job very seriously. Trust me on this. This is what I do. I'm a really big fan of the series, so you can also trust that this is done by someone who isn't a stranger to the operation. I'm putting my heart and soul into this, to give you guys designs that capture the essence of TAS, and will make y'all look head-turningly smexy while you're walking down the street. Anyways...Our first batch of full-color shirts that you'll be able to get through the site, here, are... 1. Screw the Rules...I Have Money! Featuring a nice stack o' cash with a dragon money clip. On green. (What other color would do, after all?) 2. Super Special Awesome! With Yugi-themed purple and gold stars, the design takes a kind of chipper naivete approach, on white baseball and ringer shirts trimmed in black. 3. This Looks Like a Job For...Limey Man! It's all lime green and Union Jacks, mate, with an image of the superpowered Brit. The back also reads "I'm here to kick ass and drink cups of tea...and I'm all out of tea." 4. Your Mother Plays Card Games in Hell! Featuring the Teddybear. On a black shirt, of course. 'Specially done for Kroze, heh heh. *This shirt is now retired! Bask in your feelings of exclusivity, all you who are wearing one!* 5. Ooh, I'm So Ambiguously Camp! A pretty Pegasus shirt for girls, boys, and those who haven't made up their minds. (*JoJo's favorite.*) *This shirt is now retired! Count yourself lucky that you got one before the arbitrary statue of limitations ran out!* 6. My Breasts Challenge You to a Duel One for the ladies. *This shirt is now retired. That's just what you get for being a woman...with girly parts.* 7. In America! Red, white, and blue, natch. On an impressive special-ops black. 8. Brooklyn Rage! Inspired by Milton Glaser's "I Love New York" logo, but with a lot more rage. Wear it when you're feeling angry! 9. Freaky Fish Guy In the vein of vintage tropical travel souvenirs, on navy. Perfect to wear to the beach! 10. You Kids Today... With the whole of Grandpa's speech from the end of the abridged movie. Classic illustration style in a well-aged brown on subtle brown. Decidedly our classiest design. The next batch is in progress! 11. My Voice Gives Me Super Strength! For all you purple dinosaurs out there. 12. Zorc & Pals Who's that crazy kook destroying the world...? 13. Fangirls Ruin Everything ...Because they do. And...More designs to be announced later. Also! Frequently asked questions: 1. Do the shirt makers (i.e.: me, JoJo) actually pay attention to suggestions? Answer: Yes! I don't always comment, because there's a lot of threads, and a lot of them are repeats, and a lot of them are suggestions for things that I've already made or are already planning to make. 2. Why aren't new designs coming faster? Answer: I actually do this "art" thing for a living. My time priorities are given to people who actually pay me. Sorry, kids, but it's the honest truth. Hell, I have to grab Dave and Kroze and twist their arms (literally!) for them to give me a shirt. 3. Who's getting the money? I don't want to get a shirt if LK isn't getting the money. Answer: Honestly, nobody's getting the money. It's all going into trying to just cover costs of making the shirts in the first place. LK is making the cartoons pro bono, I'm designing the shirts pro bono, et cetera, et cetera. We're all poor people. Shirt profits aren't going into the pockets of any corrupt businessmen. Really. <span style='color:red;'>I'M A LAWYER!! - Kroze</span> 4. Can I get a shirt with a picture of Yugi on it? Answer: Not from us. That would be copyright violation. Try the boys' section at Wal*Mart. 5. I don't like this shirt design. That's not a question. Also, you're fifteen years old and think that Comic Sans and Papyrus are amazing fonts. Go drink a Mountain Dew, play with your Wii for a few hours, and then bitch on your MySpace page about how the "popular" kids just aren't deep enough to understand your anthro vampire text-based RPG. 6. Why won't you make this shirt? Answer: There are some lines from the series that are hysterical...in context. Out of context, on a shirt, they might actually constitute harassment. I'm not gonna make anything that I think might get you beat up or sued or whatever. I don't need that on my conscience. Also, some lines just aren't funny out of context. Also, some lines are funny because they're making a reference to something else. We're gonna stick with the original true-blue YGO:TAS jokes that LK, himself, did write. 7. I don't want to wear the word "Yu-Gi-Oh!". What if I get beat up? The site URL address is on the back of each shirt. If you're embarrassed, you can wear a button-down shirt or jacket to cover it up. Something flannel? Acid-washed denim? A deer-hunting vest? Sequins? Why, the fashion possibilities are endless! Okay, kids? Okay. Keep those suggestions a-comin', post pictures of you wearing your shirts ('cause that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy) and just generally keep on bein' super special awesome. ~JoJo

My plan for the Bandit Keith shirt is actually to have the front read "I watch Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series..." and on the back have "...IN AMERICA!" with stars n' stripes. ^__^

I couldn't help it... I just had to post here. Ever since that episode with Duke came out, all I kept saying to my friends was "Burn the witch!". >< I would totally buy a shirt that says:
Burn the Witch!!! ----------> You know, "burn the witch" and then like an arrow underneath it, like those "i'm with stupid" T-shirts. Someone put up that shirt somewhere (I believe the thread is, "Shirt Ideas with Example Pics") or something like that. I saw the shirt that they put up and I absolutely loved it! :D Oh, and my cousin and I are eagerly awaiting for that Super Special Awesome shirt to come out. ^^

I'll buy 3/4 of the last t-shirts. XD I don't want the Pegasus one though. XD It's awesome, but not something I want. XD But expect me to buy "In America" FIRST. XP And the Grandpa one...and who wouldn't want a Tristan shirt? X3

Oh man...now I know EXACTLY what I'm gonna be begging for for my birthday. >D (Either that, or what I'll be blowing all my money on for the next month or so...) Looking forward to the new shirts and I REALLY can't wait for the second round of them, so I hope they get up soon. Keep up the awesome work Jo, we really appreciate it!

Yeah. The "You kids today..." shirt was popular with the entire site, so it comes to absolutely no surprise that its being made into a shirt. It was the only other shirt other than "Screw the rules" shirt I've thought of getting.
EDIT: I am hoping my "This shirt is haunted by French People" I made a while back gets considered for the next batch! =D Though................it is very unlikely.............

If it had a pic of Yugi on it they would risk getting sued by 4 kids. And then there'd be no more YGOTAS. And nobody wants that, right? But, that doesn't mean there can't be graphic references to Yugi...

Everyday I check the store for new stuff, and today there was a CD. I don't know if there is a topic somewhere else about this, but I did not find the topic in the store section. WHAT IS THIS CD?

Eh...Hiya, kids. Okay. News. Things have been crazy, because
1. My scanner died. 2. I graduated from college. 3. My order for a new scanner was canceled, so I had to go somewhere else. 4. My new scanner that arrived was defective, so I'm getting that taken care of. This is why there have been no new shirts. Yet. I take the scanner to the shop tomorrow. As soon as I get it back, we'll celebrate all my technical frustrations with a "Brooklyn Rage!" shirt. In addition to the others I've promised you. Sound groovy?
