This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Sai's a bit smoother, especially in the ink/pen tools. If you know what you're doing with Photoshop though, the biggest advantage to SAI is the nice blending tools. I'm not big on vector so that doesn't real factor in for me.

Sai is a little too... smushy for me, after using Corel Painter, though.

Something I'm working on for my portfolio... >_>
Yay lineless art! (...With... Exceptions to the rule where needed of course.)

Not done yet of course; note that the sketch layer is still visible. xD

not very good by any means, but still not bad for the first piece of poetry i've written in a very long while.

the urban trees
hang together by threads
connecting the world

it is the way of things
connections only matter
so long as we care

still they'll drag things out
off into the distance
losing sight
of what they once were attached to

the connections do not matter
just that they are there
ever pulsing in our memories

"Haze of Self"

I am liquid, glacial air
Surrounding him
To find all his cracks and fill them
Until he pulls aside the shades
To beam through my incorporeality.

Shattered, I slide down into his sunshine mouth
To rest and burn away in the molten light.

Kudos you can stay I like you and I like your art. :o

I have been rather gone, since I have no internet, but here, have some sketches.
I wonder if you guys would even want to see my other stuff, since I've been posting exclusively Yugioh stuff. (since, at least, people would recognize it here) Anyway, click for a couple of doodles from the bottom of a scribblesheet in Corel Painter.

(I actually like the bakura better in pencil, but he was too weak next to the atem that way)
Ok, the board wasn't cooperating, so here's the thumbnail I was using.

Nice!

To be fair I haven't really done anything that can be presented in the form of this thread in a while, so just count yourself lucky you're inspired. Lord knows you're inspiring the rest of us. XD

wip of something I've been half assing on and off in sai.
(Yugioh fanart inspired by vocaloid songs- how far can you fall?)
That's not the actual background btw, I just threw that down to make the characters (hopefully) pop a bit more in this preview.

got bored, sketched a bird today out of boredom from my brain. Sorry about how crappy the photo is, I took it with my camera phone, then tried to fix the color in photobucket and accidently saved before I realized what I'd done.

edit: huh, weird the things i did to it aren't showing up on here, but they are in photobucket. I'm not sure if that's a win or not.

Pencil, its just really dark cause of the crappy lighting. Anyway people complain I never show anything to them so now they can't. XD

If I were to really critique your drawing I'd say you f**ked up the feet a bit...

But you've done a better job on them than I'd do. I hate drawing animal feet.

Really, it's an excellent drawing :)

A lot of the detail was lost in them when i took the picture, also its not a real bird, just something i sketched in my head....so were it a real bird i'd agree, i must say the middle toe on the fore foot is very fucked up though, probably should have fixed that one since its horter than the rest. Oh well. XP

Pah! My brain still hates drawing even made-up animal feet.
