 Something I did today in three hours of spare time. I do these pretty much all the time, have since I was about 14. Its what I do with my pent up creativity when I don't feel like doing something complicated. Sorry about the shitty color, If you can't tell how off it is...the outline...that's paper, and white. |

I've been sketching/drawing since I could hold a pencil, but I do like to write.
Any story ideas I work with tend to be from dreams or day dreaming, I've done goofy song spoofs and even wrote out an original tune back in high school though it is kind of emo. xD I learned drawing from spending days with my father at car shows so the things I'm best at are cars. |

An example of something I wrote down after laying in bed trying to sleep but instead started to think about a story after hearing a noise but realizing nothing was there.
The grammar may be poor in spots as it was written down and wasn't looked at until now. xD It's from Feb 12th earlier this year. "Six worlds, six doors, on nexis world that ties them... The human world, a world of darkness, a realm of magic, a world nearly identicle to earth but with anthro, a mechanical world, and the world of white/light. Waking and hearing a voice in the dark, calling... A soft voice, a cute voice, and then a pair of yellow eyes lookinat you. He hear "will you be my friend?" and wonder what this voice means by "friend?... You ask if the voice will turn on the light first, it agrees and you are half blinded by your own light. Before stands a pale girl, pointed ears, dark clothes, bright yellow eyes and a shy look about her. what should be white of her eyes are instead black. She jumps back on your bed and asks again, "will you be my friend?". She seems to be kind and not dangerous, but you can't be sure. You ask her to define what she thinks "friend" means, if it involves pain or other things of that nature. She shakes her head and tells you no, she tells you she's never had a friend... You feel a pain in your chest at seeing the look on her face when she says this, she tells you that where she comes from the idea of friends or love has no base. This cuases another pain, you reach out and touch her shoulder saying yes, you'll be her friend... She hugs you, at first you almost recoil but no... she means well, no harm done. You hear a huffle and as she pulls off you see a twinkle in her eye. You hug her this time, arms wide around her. You sit there, not sure whether to let go or not. Then, you realize you're hugging an odd girl who just popped in you room in the middle of the night and let go thinking. You ask her where she's from. She tells you her world is one of darkness, you stop and think of another world... you ask her if it is deangerous there? she says yes and no, that it can be but is not always, you wonder what such a place would be like... While sitting and sharing information you ask for her name and she tells you it is Nina, you give her your name and keep sitting there... You ask her how she got from her world to yours, she tells you that there are "doors" that lead from one world to the other, large stone doorways that have odd carvings on them. You sit and wonder what could be behind these doors, what odd and interesting things and people there could be... Then you feel pull deep inside you, that feeling you've always had, the pull for adventure! You start questioning yourself on whether this could be what you've always dreamed of, a chance to do something, a chance to discover what others hae yet to, and of course the chance of meeting cute girls! You ask Nina if she could show you this "doorway" she spoke of, she say yes with a happy smile across her face. You ask her to wait a moment for you to get some things together for what could a grand adventure, she agrees. You put on what protective clothig you have, luckily you're a total geek that collects armour and swords. With your armour, shield, and blade along with some batteries, a flashlight and other random things you let Nina now that you are ready to set out. She tells you to close your eyes and hold tight, she turns off the lights and holds on to you. You feel an odd light feeling and fall to your knees gasping... Your stomach feels like it was left behind in your room as you stand up to see you are now in some dark large room, Nina is standing beside what looks like a large stone doorway that is solid black. As your eyes adjust to the low lighting of the room you start to notice familiar things, you realize that you are standing in front of an exibit at the local musuem and being here at night is not a good plan, unless your plan involves being mistaken for a thief! You tell Nina this in a worried tone and turn around to inspect the doorway further. She begins touching difirent spots on the carvings and soon they begin to glow as what can best be described as a portal opens before you eyes. She motions you closer and reaches out a hand, you take her hand in yours and with a *gulp* step through it with her." |

One of my better digital car images, I'm usually bad with lighting/shading but I like how this one turned out.

I've recently been working with a form of poetry that's a cross between a pantoum and a sonnet. I've dubbed it the "Pannet."
Here's an example: Falling In Love by Gloria Farley Your eyes, a glory all in jewels bright - Alive with evening pleasure, shining up To Milky Way in starred expanse alight. Together we're to drink a joyful cup. Alive! With evening pleasure shining up And all around us twin entwined in love, Together we're to drink a joyful cup. Our laughter ricochets to Heav'n above. And all around us twain entwined in love An overflow of mirth comes tumbling through; Our laughter ricochets to Heav'n above. This net of shimmered pearls will trap me true. An overflow of mirth comes tumbling through To Milky Way in starred expanse alight. This net of shimmered pearls will trap me true: Your eyes - a glory all in jewels bright. |

Kudos that's amazing! Loving the shading.
I also have not shared here for a long while. This is a design for a wall mural that I have done to go on the chimney breast in my son's bedroom when we get around to decorating it before he arrives into the world. Done using Illustrator CS6. |
