This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Default X-Men

Just watched the latest of the series and have to admit, I liked it. I mean it wasn't without problems, such as blaming nukes for genetic mutations despite several characters pre-dating nukes. Also some of the characters plotlines felt a little rushed and forced as if only implemented for sake of that plot point being there, rather than a meaningful thought part of the film. Such as Angels fall from the team failing to convey emotion it was meant to, due to veiwers not yet knowing her character enough to really feel for her fall.

However despite the rushed feel of the film, it was entertaining and the relationship between Prof X and Megie was really enthralling.

Overall I thought it was good watch, how about others?

X-Men: First Class was the best in the series by far (in my humble opinion), despite all of the continuity errors, and believe me there were many [ i.e. At the end when Charles gets paralyzed, even though in The Last Stand in shows him walking in the '80s; Storm making a cameo even though that would make her over 50, etc. ] They treated the characters with respect and really did a great job with everything - dialogue, action, special effects. I enjoyed watching it a lot. I LOVE the X-men series and all of the movies were pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the Origins movie, but I'm going to see the upcoming sequel to it anyway.

I can't wait until the First Class: Sequel. I hope that one tells about Magnetos wife and kids. I hope one of the upcoming X-Men movies do because I believe that is a huge part of his story line. It shows his humanity and that he's not just some evil mutant that's against humans.
