People. Seriously.
300 WAS BASED OFF OF A COMIC BOOK, WHICH IN TURN WAS LOOSELY BASED OFF OF A HISTORICAL EVENT. Regardless, in terms of entertainment value, I don't see how it was pointless and dumb. The cinematography was exceptional (and very consistent with the comic). And just like any Shakespearean tragedy, you knew what was going to happen even before you started watching it (or at least I did). If you were watching this and expecting 300 Spartans to defeat the entire Persian Empire, I suggest you go back to watching the LOTR Trilogy. Though it would be farfetched to state it was one of the best movies I've seen (it isn't), it definitely does not belong in the list of the worst. Someone mentioned: Quote:
I have a feeling you were referring to slasher films (i.e. Freddy Kreuger, Jason, and the like). And even then, movies like Halloween cannot be seen as being among the worst. Someone also mentioned Stranger Than Fiction. I guess people have trouble comprehending Will Ferrell taking on a role that doesn't involve him making a complete dumbass of himself. Regardless, he did a pretty good job and was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Worst movie i've ever seen was "Napoleon Dynamite"
Snakes on a Plane was alright, it's only supposed to be fun not the next godfather. And i also liked Stranger than fiction, but after i saw the trailer i was expecting another one of Will Ferrel's typical comedies, i guess that pissed of some people....that and the ending, wich i thought was kinda stupid

Kingdom of Heaven hands down. The pacing was terrible, his journey to the holy land and back so unrealistic it made me laugh, the main plot line was so divided it had less unity than the civil war, and I swear that one of the banners shown in the movie was the mountain dew flag.
