I sorta need help filling my pokedex here...
If anyone one wants to, i'll post my friend code so we can trade, i need the kanto and johto (minus cyndaquil) starters, legenderies(minus mewtwo, lugia and ho-oh) and common pokemon not found in pearl. and if your willing to make a trade like this, i'll try and get a decent pokemon from my boxes to trade with. ( i have a lvl100 cacturne, providing that hasen't been traded for a deoxys yet on gts.)

While it may not have been mentioned in this thread, it's still pretty old news, given that SSBB has been out for several months now. I don't blame you for being late though, I've had my share of discovering news too late.
I'm pretty good with Ivysaur myself, I spam Squirtle's up smash way too often (I'm trying to cut back though), and I just don't know what to do with Charizard myself. Alright, now I have a question. Have you ever faced a Pokemon that has really ticked you off, because of their moves/abilities/whatever keeping you from attacking, or dealing decent damage? My UU team failed (just like the rest), so now I'm thinking of making an annoyer team, and I'm always up for suggestions.

Has anyone had trouble getting Buneary's happiness up? I gave it a soothe bell, walk 18'000+ steps and gave it massages, and not one heart. I think it's a glitch.

Now the same thing happened with IgglyBuff o.0
And now the trophy garden pokemon are erratic, It's almost impossible to find that day's Pokemon, and yesterdays pokemon appear once or twice... Anyone else have this happen?

Pokemon in the trophy garden stay there for two days at a time. It's not a glitch.

Well, my Buneary evolved fine. Are you relying on the Poketch app? Try switching back to it, to refresh the screen. There are two people in Sinnoh who can tell you your Pokemon's happiness. Have youtried talking to them? There's one in Hearthome City in the Pokemon Fanclub house, the woman in the very back of the room, and one who's house is on the beach right of Pastoria City, who reads your Pokemon's footprints. If your Pokemon's happiness is high enough, he'll give your Pokemon a Footprint Ribbon.
If you're 100% sure your Buneary hasn't gained any happiness at all, maybe there's a problem with that single Buneary, so try rebreeding it or catching another, and trying that. If no Buneary in your game can reveive happiness, then you should start worrying. As for the Trophy Garden, you were just lucky. I can almost never find "cute" Pokemon in the garden. There's nothing wrong with your garden, you were just really lucky before to get cute Pokemon early on in your search.

I think that there will definately be a remake of Gold and Silver, there were just way too many Johto references to be a coincidence. Off the top of my head the ones I can remember are: Jasmine the Olivine gym leader appearing, The Secret Potion from Cianwood, many people talking about how eggs were discovered far across the seas. There were loads but they were the only three I can remember.
My Team: Dragonite level 75 Adamant Nature Moveset: Fire Claw, Ice Claw, Outrage, Hyper Beam Blastoise level 70 Jolly Nature Moveset: Hydro Cannon, Surf, Ice Beam, Avalanche Dusknoir level 70 Lax Nature Moveset: Shadow Claw, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Brick Break Gallade level 70 Modest Nature Movest: Psycho Cut, Close Combat, Future Sight, Slash Frosslass level 70 Hardy Nature Moveset: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Ice Punch, Hyper Beam Nidoking Brave Nature Moveset: Earthquake, Hyper Beam (I love it), Ice Punch, Thunder Punch All pokemon have been EV trained as best they can.

There is coding in Diamond/Pearl for pokemon from Johto (like it says the Pal Park pokemon are from Kanto). This doesn't mean they're making a GS remake, but they could if they wanted to.

Yeah I know but its the fact that they mention it so often made me think maybe they were hinting at something.
Same it would be awesome if you could travel to every continent. Only problem is is that by the end of Johto (if you started in Kanto) your team would all be level 100 or close to it, so would get boring to travel another two knowing you can't level up at all, unless they raised the maximum level, that would be pretty sweet. =)

If they were to do it (and I hope they are) then they would probably make it harder for pokemon to level up. Like making you get even more exp. to gain a level. That's what I think at least.

God I hope they remake gold and silver. I am a bit of a Pokemon game maniac and for some reason I can't help but want to have the pokemon that no one else seems to like, for instance I've got a level 100 Castform and a 100 Chimecho. I need to get some sort of Pokemon patch or something.

Well i'm still willing to trade, and i got a lot more better pokemon to offer, since i want to complete the pokedex I can trade a pokemon back if you want to keep it.
Also, for those who played BR, anyone find the random Pokemon rental colloseum almost impossible?

they're still busy on platinum, so it's going to be a while 'till they remake gold/silver, although i've wanted them to do that ever since they made FR/LG.
BR rental isn't impossible, i did it on my 1st try (i could retry the last because i had a perfect win point)

but i'm not not used to weak lvl 30 teams with some of the worst movesets ever, and if 2 pokemon had the same speed, i autMatically go second... at least i finally beat him last week and I doubt I'll go back there.
