This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Let's face it. If they end up doing that, they'll not only break tradition, but they'll have to make an entire new Generation: Generation 6. Which, hopefully, they won't make. I mean, they are already out of ideas. G6 Would probably just anger fans.

GF's not out of ideas, they just can't figure out no one wants a Fire/Fighting starter three times in a row. There's another 14 types to choose from. At least give it a different sub type. Or none at all.

I'd be in favor of a new triangle for starters.

Pokabu's evolution should have been a Fire/Ground.

Have to agree with Cegem...taking x4 damage from your rival would suck...or a gym where there are water pokemon with no grass or thunder pokemon to alleviate the problem.

They should make the final evo's of the starters dragons.

Because they're dragons.

Personally I would have liked pokabu to just have been pure fire, but then I wanted it to evolve into a big fuck of boar with fire running down it's spine called Blazerback so we can't always get what we want.

However this might be a fire/fighting I'll actually use, something about Blaziken and Infernape just put me off, this guy looks suitably solid imo.

Nopes but I wouldn't want one only for the fact that it doesn't exactly remove the water weakness and only increases ground weakness to x4.

It doesn't remove the water weakness.

It keeps all the weaknesses of both types and ground weakness is x4.

so Im looking at the updated Pokemon Black & White Pokemon page, and i think that Baffuron should be an evolution for Tauros. also, they really do need to stop the Fire/Fighting type combo. its repetitive, and Blaziken was the better one

Daft question I know, but why all the outrage over this being the third Fire/Fighting starter when this is also our third time with a pure water and pure grass starters, yet nobody has said a word about that?

It's not the 3rd consecutive time for grass and water I guess.

Looking at the final forms, Smugleaf's the only one I want to use, on the basis of not looking crap.

I think just once, I'd like to see a starter type have a Dark secondary type. whether it be Fire/Dark, Water/Dark, or Grass/Dark. the reason why is because I'm a sucker for dark types. ever since that type was revealed, I've had dark types. Sharpedo, Weavile, Houndoom, Mightyena, you name the pokemon with a dark type, and 9 times out of 10 I have had it. (the 1/10 being Darkrai)

actually, I lied. I've never had a Spiritomb (tried to get it once), Umbreon, Stunky and Skuntank. so technically, I've owned basically 78% of all dark types made from generations 2-4
