I'm not sure about this one... I watched some of the gameplay and while most of it looked really good, when he walks backwards it seems to look like he's walking forwards with his legs... Plus he moves before he actually moves his legs, like someone has pushed him a little on ice before he begins to run. You know what I mean?

I want one for christmas.
The prize dosn´t bother me since i´m not the one who´s going to buy it anyway. I thought about having a Xbox 360 at first but when i heard about Rings of death and all that crasy stuff i changed my mind. Okay the Xbox may have Halo 3 but i don´t think a singel game alone is enough to change my mind on this matter. Besides the PS3 is going to have Metal Gear Solid 4 wich is also going to be awesome.

Have a PS3 and love it, shame that it was priced out of many people's reach but the technology is starting to get cheaper so that is gonna change. As for who wins this stupid console war, I DON'T CARE, as long as the competition is around, great stuff is always gonna be made, as well as it should be. Fanboys can go rot in a grave.
Anyway, I've got these games: * Resistance: Fall Of Man - I give this game an 9 out of 10, highly solid and enjoyable experience, just not innovative. * Motorstorm - 8 out of 10, great single player and online racing experience, no split-screen very foolish though. * Gripshift - 7 out of 10, neat car platformer, always fun to dip into. * Super Stardust HD - 8 out of 10, just shooting, but SO great at it! The true challenger to Geometry Wars. * Blast Factor - 6 out of 10, more strategy and multiplayer focused than Stardust, but however it just feels a bit dull. * Gran Turismo HD - 8 out of 10, good depth, you always desire to push your technique to the limit. * Super Rub A Dub - 5 out of 10, not too bad, earlier levels are great fun with the Sixaxis controls, but later levels make you wanna scream in anger. * Calling All Cars - 7 out of 10, it's a more multiplayer-centric game, so single player is lacking, but it is still nice. Make sure to bring friends or play online. * FlOw - 7 out of 10, a nice soothing experience, very indie game style, not too much to do but that is the beauty of it. * Tekken Dark Ressurection - 8 out of 10, solid AI enemies (Jinpatchi is the cheapest boss EVER though), and good two player with pleanty of fighters to choose. Most of these games are PSN downloadable, but I'm waiting for the right time to get Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Heavenly Sword (How can a game flop when it's not even out yet?), Ratchet And Clank, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Haze over the winter time! People should enjoy the consoles they have, rather than taking the time to bash other consoles, that's just pathetic.

i had heard about the game man hunt 2 that is coming in america.... i cant believe this!!! i had just heard this and why would america want this game that was banned in the uk for its graphics being so realistic that it would scare to many people, they wont even air the commercials in the us (probobly.) i love video games but when you are on a killing spree trying to get out of an insane asylum and it being like your acctully there!!........ We have just went too far....... we look at rated M games at being extremly violent and now that this game is coming out, its going to make people insaneprobobly! not just for the game, but for from playing it too! PS3 rocks but now! im sorry if this game is for another console but with ps3 having the best graphics out so far..... (sigh) im sorry. this is just crazy! and i respect your opion on the matter, game console, and game. I just think that if UK banned it then we should too. im sorry if none of you wanted to hear a rant on a game but..... i just couldnt hold it in and i mean i just had heard this! well atleast now i have gotten all of that rage out of my system [^_^] . well thanks for reading. i hope i dont need to do another rant on a game in a long time. The first Manhunt wasn't a very good game, but yeah it shouldn't be banned. Just needs to be clearly labelled as an 'adults only' game, I think if people like gory horror films, or the recent trend of pure gore films, then a game shouldn't be a problem.
Back on topic, I forgot Eldar Scrolls Oblivion from my list, which I think is worth an 8 out of 10, fantastic, but you are often doing the same sort of tasks over and over, and characters are weak as hell, their development doesn't go much beyond "I trust you with my life" or "I hate you, go away" or even worse, you undertake a holy crusade, you accidently hit some idiot soldier who was caught in the crossfire between you and some daedra, and suddenly people go "I used to think you were a holy knight and all, but you're just a sinner like the rest of us" as if that's a bad thing, I know it can be solved, it's just happened to me quite a lot lately. But still a great game, escaping the first dungeon and looking around Cyrodil for the first time is a classic moment for me.

I'm not sure as I haven't really paid attention to the manhunt stuff too closely, but I don't think it was banned. Wasn't it that the BBFC (I think that's the movie ratings people in UK) refused to give it a rating as they felt it was far too insensitive and irresponsible due to the fact it was so violent, set in Manchester where gun crime is really high and because in houses and stuff there was pictures of a 10 year old who was killed in Manchester? Games don't need to be rated by those people as there's an independent rating system that is used for games that doesn't have to go through the BBFC but because of all the bad press the game was getting, Sony decided to pull the game completely from UK release.
Like I said, I haven't really been paying that much attention so I may be wrong/may have the wrong game in mind...

i got a few things to say here:
first off you must remember that without sony playing a game would be playing monopoly. mainly because PS1 was GOD when it came out (sure there was dreamcast Nintendo 64 etc but PS1 was amazing compared to those) and then PS2 came and this was like watching neil armstrong stepping on the moon, graphics were amazing (like worthog117 said i am a typical sony fan) gameplay was brillaint and be quite honest $300 is nothing compared to a good computer. second whats with the console war sony fans throwing insults about how 360 should come with a repair kit because its so unreliable (i dont believe so), 360 fans saying PS3 is just a rip off and is flashy but is hopeless and Wii fans sitting on the back line watching while sony and microsoft battle it out. i mean come on, they're consoles not soldiers of war i mean yeah competition is good but this is too much. now to the 360, you've got to remember it came out a year before PS3 and at the time was amazing so my fellow sony fans drop the whole "360's graphics are nothing to the PS3's". i now finish saying that i dont care who wins the war but i will stay loyal to Sony (i have got the PSP PS1 PS2 PS3) as long as they create consoles. Agreed, I'm more of a Sony fan, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna rip on the other consoles cos they do some things better (Wii's retro library for instance beats out PStore's downloads, and Xbox 360 has a bigger library of games generally, but these change over time) and I may well get a 360 and Wii at some point.
Anyway, although the reactions to Lair are quite mixed (Most reviewers HATE the game), it is largely due to the controls but even then a guy on youtube called Lairplayer 5 shows in a vid how to play it effectively (They key is not to think of the motion sensing in the same manner as the Wii) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxPKXfRRNAY Also Free Radical Design's latest game, Haze has it's 360 and PC developments scrapped, so they are concentrating on the PS3 version, judging from Timesplitters, Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark ( Many of the team members were involved in those classic N64 games) it should be awesome.

I have somthing to say. There are 5 kinds of people. 1. 360 fanboys - they go on about how great the XBox is, rip on the PS3, and usually talk about Halo all the time - they're sad, and I can't stand them. (I'm looking at you warthog117) 2. 360 Owners. They like their 360, do complement it, are very modist, ocasionally make fun of the PS3, they are open to the possibility of a PS3 being better, but they just won't ever beleive it - these guys are just fine, and theres nothing wrong with healthy competirion 3. people who own both + Nintendo fans - don't seem to have a side in the consol war - fine 4. PS3 owners - love their ps3 and will always defend it when challanged but don't seem to care for the 360 much - Just fine. 5. PS3 extremists - just like 4, but cuss any time anyone mentions the 360 - Calm down, geaz "then it hit me. the consol war is nothing but another battlefield for the goverment. Space race, world war, they're all just arenas for meaningless competition. There's a world of difference between the PS3 and 360, but its only a difference of people, a matter of perspective. I want to see a world without war. A place without comunism or capitalism. That is the world I want to live in." - The Boss in - MGS3. Slightly modified ofcource.

you cant make a game interactive by just pumping up the graphics, and nintendo realized just that. -_- "next gen" doesnt necessarily mean better graphics. the Wii is a next gen system because its the next gen console made by nintendo. if it was worse than the GC, it would still be a next gen console, just because of how things are named. o_O and although you 360 and PS3 fanboys can duke it out however much you want, but in the end, I think that however uncool it may look, the Wii may have hit the nail on the head.
