Or, you know, this has nothing to do with a supernatural power taking time out of its busy schedule running the universe intervening to answer prayers for an insignificant spec somewhere in the Milky Way, and might instead actually come down to a combination of luck, marking bias, leniency on the part of the instructor or teaching assistant, a possible bell curve, your own natural talent for the subject at hand and, finally, whatever preparation you undertook for your examinations.
