Blah blah blah, governments are corrupt, the world sucks blah blah. Can this conversation die a horrible death now? Nothing being said is anything new and has little or nothing to do with the original topic at hand: Free Speech and Personal Rights versus Government Legislation, Seizures, and the constitutionality of their actions.
Whether the constitution needs to be re-written from the ground up has nothing to do with the reality of the situation. The only reason for which the constitution will need to be re-written is when/if we do snap as a nation and disembowel all of our congressional representatives and burn DC to the ground to start from scratch. HOPEFULLY, however, we are more civilized in that possibly conceivable revolution and simply shove them into a jail cell within the same boundaries as the lower class citizens victimized by the shitty circumstances their corruption caused. Surprise Buttsex abounds and we rebuild our nation without them. |

The reason people who commit acts of peaceful revolution are popularized and made into heroes is specifically because they're so rare and able to avoid their movement being corrupted into an angry rebellion. But I don't think it matters either way, even if the end is usually changed significantly as a result of it being angry or not. Time goes on, and people are born into the world by consequence of the actions of the previous generation. This isn't a perfect world. I wouldn't even say it's a very good world. The only reason we continue on is because of the people in our personal lives, both psychologically and as a biological fact. So even if you all decide to build an angry revolution, I'll just sit here in my perch watching you all, having sex with my future wife. Quote:

If by competent, you mean not actually accomplishing any of his long term goals. Or having any long term goals.
