This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

OH MY GOSH! This was my first con and you all were my favorite part of it. For serious you'll rock and I'm crying that I didn't get to fangirl over you. (I wish I had known you all had a table DX ) Also, you did gain new viewers, though I had heard that yugioh abridged was extremely funny before I could never be bothered to check it out (I am very lazy.) But we opted for this instead of the dance and my twin (who doesn't like anime) was with me and this was the best time we had during the whole weekend. So you have two new viewers and I'm trying to get my older brother to watch it :)

Also, sokka was wonderful, how I wanted to steal his appas
Hopefully I'll see you all again.

Know what we need to to do, to get attention?

Throw a Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series party in a building, then destroy the building with everyone inside, and when the news covers it, they'll have to mention the Abridged Series and we'll get all of this "Yahoo! Top Searches" things.

Events90: LK also endorses this behavior, posting, whatever you want to call it. Also, the Moderators and Admins are _only_ interested in the benefit of the site, which they are paid _nothing_. Instead of criticizing them at every new turn, why don't you be supportive? Or at least offer some constructive criticism. Just because you don't want to see something on the front page doesn't mean that the moderators are doing a bad job, or that the site is moving away from it's "original" intent and fanbase. By expanding and including others, instead of excluding new ideas, links, and people from coming in, they are making the site a better place to be at all around. If you don't like it, that's fine. But please don't bitch about it all day. The people who work here have more important things to do than sit here and listen to you complain, and frankly they don't deserve it. Please, either offer something constructive next time, or stop making attacks.

Hey, that sounds like fun. Mind if I join in your party? And why won't you be at the party??

(PS, wouldn't that be legal if the building was scheduled for demolition [sp]?)

Does it honestly matter in the end?

of course if my kamikaze mission doesn't work we could always set up lite-brites all over Boston with the words "Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series" written on them. And we'd get the same results.

No, but if it is legal, we won't be arrested or anything. And if Kroze and the other mods/admins were at the party, then we wouldn't be able to keep this site! Or, worse, if LK were at the party, we'd never see another episode of YGO:TAS again!!! :O

Yeah, lite-brites. How about they say, "Screw the rules, I have money!!" or something?

One big flaw in your plan- even if a place is scheduled to be destroyed, if a person knowingly enters the building and are seen (and I think a "party" of people will be easy to notice), they can't just press the button anyways- and wouldn't. They could still be charged with mass manslaughter, or worse.

It's not really legal to kill anyone- unless you're in uniform... and I don't mean a maid uniform- though maids with guns are pretty popular in Japan...

Btw- You sold out on the "Screw the rules! I have money!" T-shirts - that should pay for the website for a good long time... and there were - over 100 people at the showing? Seemed like it- the place was packed. That's gotta be great news for LK right? A huge group of people gathering just to watch his work? Getting linked by some prominate websites and artists so even more people can enjoy it? Thats a big part of conventions- and Con Reports are pretty much a must.

1. I like this idea of HeavyDDR in a Maid Uniform.... I fully support this idea!

2. We really didn't make that much profit off the shirts due to all the ones we printed and how cheap we were selling them and there were only 15 of those "Screw the Rules" shirts... we broke about even on em and had a bit to help pay for gas on the way back...
Its less about making a profit for us then it is to get the fans good products to have!

3. Con Reports r0x

That sounded like a fun event to be at. I wish I could have gone, but... I stayed at home...

Nice caption and runner ups. They're all very creative. ^^

LittleKuriboh's returning? *insert shocked expression here* Still, we'll need those once in a while Caption Contests by Dixonij once in a while. ^_^

And what's this talk of a party? Will Kristin Kreuk be there? She spices up every party...

Just wanted to say to Dix, Kroze and everyone that I met there, I had a fantastic time. It made my day a perfect day to see the abridged series and to see that other girls enjoy the series as much as me. And those T-shirts they sold...I gave the 'Screw the Rules' one to my brother and he was thrilled. Thanks you guys! It was Super Special Awesome...litterally!

Sounds like it was fun. If there was YGO:TAS playing at any conventions around here, I'd totally go in a heartbeat. Buuut as it stands, there probably isn't, and I really don't care that much for conventions. Sadface.

We are actually in the middle of working all that crap out right now....
And yeah, we have about 20 shirts left over...

Anime USA might have a showing of Abridged that I will be at since I will be there already with Overclocked Remix...
As for a actual presence with booth and everything... nothing till February most likely...

Otakon is in August, it's normally the largest Anime Convention on the East Coast and takes place in Baltimore, Maryland. I don't know where you live but for most people that go to Nekocon Otakon is just a couple more or less hours to get to than Nekocon ^^

It's big though... Really really big... Makes Nekocon look like a Junior Frosty from Wendy's... if Otakon was like-- a large soda or something... which it isn't but you get the idea... (Nekocon = "Oh a panel i want to go to starts in 2 minutes- better leave now to get there before they start." Otakon = "Oh! The panel I want to go to starts in 10 minutes! If i don't hurry I'll be late!")

Gahhh, I'm jealous, I wish I could have been there! *curses living in FL* It would have been so awesome to meet some of the mods... Wish I could have seen Appa-man, as I love both Appa and Sokka...and I really would have liked to get some shirts. ;_; So much stuff I missed. D= But overall it sounds like it was a great time. Videos soon plz!

No complaints from me about random entries or caption contests. I like random. It makes my day more interesting. This post was way cool, I hope we get to hear more about the con.

Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit, he took the midnight train...

It would be great if you guys can come to ones on the west coast too. Like Comic con or Anime Expo. I'd suggest Yaoi-con (Abridged Series males characters tend to be viewed as gay.) But I can understand why you might not go for that one.

Well, myself and a lot of the other moderators tend to attend Comic Con every year...
In matter of fact, last year we pretty much left this place unmoderated while we were all off having fun there!
Dunno if we will have a booth there or anything since its just so damn expensive!

With Anime Expo and others... I recommend you start emailing various cons you know of asking for the Abridged Series to come to the cons you want and they might try to get us there as guests.
Normally all conventions have a guest coordinator you can email with guest suggestions, just go to a conventions website and leave a message on their message board or email them.
This goes for anyone who would like us to come to conventions near them!
