Oh, and I was wondering why the site was being super slow that one night everything crashed (last Wednesday, I believe). I can't tell you if they're able to come back, since I don't know the inner workings of the site, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they aren't banned now. What I know, however, is that they will only come back if they know that they can.

You know, technically there should be some evidence that this site existed after November... If you've seen a page, it never really goes away on your computer... There are cached pages, images of web pages, on Google, on other sites too I bet... Wouldn't there be some way to put the site back together to the way it was using these things?

Eh, maybe not back together, at least not safely, but perhaps there are ways we could host those pages on an archive website of some sort?
Another forum I frequent last summer rebooted the entire forum so everything was going to be lost and upgraded, but there were ways to visit the old forum still.
It also helped that we were warned weeks ahead of time that this was going to happen. And that the admins had full control of what was going on instead of the server being evil to everyone.
