maybe I should amend what I said. That rule aplies to most things. I suppose that as long as a joke isn't repeated too often (like every episode or every other episode) it will last quite a while.
Mannerisms obviously need to be kept. I suppose that "nyehs" are part of a mannerism.

Doing digimon jokes would be like ripping off pokemon. Again. Digimon is to close to pokemon. However, neopet references would be funny. LK could reference season 0 if he wanted to. There was definately an episode in season 0 with something like neopets.

Here's some:
I heard someone on another forum say that Ra's orb form could be called a Super Mega Ultra Chicken Egg.

When Bakura uses his weird Eye thingy field card, the song "I always Feel Like Somebody's Watchin' Me" could play. Or when he summons a monster there could be a reference to the Sixth Sense (I see dead people) or Poltergeist.

The next time Mokuba bothers Seto, he could maybe say "There's a monster outside my window, could I have a glass of water?" (Signs quote)

Calling Kuribohs Tribbles would be a reference to Star Trek.

A Baywatch reference could be inserted when Mai is in the hourglass-of-death and looking at her friends play at the beach. Or someone could bring up there's no Bugs like there were in the manga.

Maybe one of Marik's torture cards could be called "The View" (Jay Leno has made countless torture jokes about that show), or Voldemort, or Scream, ect.

"Terror Time" could play during part of Bakura or Marik's duel(s).

And that's all I can remember right now ^-^ sorry if any of these have already been suggested, I didn't search through the thread to look.

I just installed a modification to the forum.

Previously, the front page would only show the date/name of the last person who posted in each forum. Now it shows the date, name, and thread title.

Let me know if you guys see any bugs.

That's a big misconception. It's like saying 'stick a 'mon on the end of something and it instantly becomes a Pokemon ripoff'. It's a lot closer to Mecha anime than it is to Pokemon. Hell, Yu-Gi-Oh! is closer to Pokemon in some ways than Digimon is. I shan't list the differences. Go look it up on another thread that's in the Anime/Manga section.

Other than this, I'd like to see someone do a "Christian Bale" when they don't get their own way.

How about when Slifer is being killed by Ra's fire attack, the song (I think it's name is) "Fire" plays :3 it's the Theme to Hell's Kitchen if you need to look it up (because I don't know who did it or what it's really called...)

Sorry. But I kind of associate anime that inclued kids running around with real and living monsters and fighting evil (or just each other) with one another. Anyway, its just my opinion. :)
