LK is getting too carried away with references and inner jokes to many random things, he is now even starting to leave off Yu-Gi-Oh itself. For example he doesn't even considers the villians stories or many official key points of the plot for the jokes (Like Marik's motives, the gravekeeper tatoo, etc...) You can't help but feel things are kinda off right now, at the beginning of the series he was very loyal to the plot and made fun of it with references and stuff, but now the references have taken over the series...and are not so worldwide so many aren't understood =/. My point, be more loyal to the plot, keep the references and all but not let them be the humor of the series, just part of it.

Well, on www.homestarrunner.com, there's a toon where there's a commercial for "Fluffy Puff Marshmellows" and at the end, you see that Homestar is watching it on TV and he says "I hate that freakin' marshmellow." And then there's also a card in the YGO TCG called "Marshmellon." So my idea is that, for an end joke, L.K. can put the picture of the "Marshmellon" card on the TV screen. That's right... my idea is the end of that toon only with the "Marshmellon" card instead of Marshie and then, that's right, show Homestar saying "I hate that freakin' marshmellow." Genius!

Since this is an "Abridged" series, whenever YGO:TAS gets up to the Noah story arc (which I believe was completely made up for the anime and not in the manga at all, but I could be wrong), that whole storyline should be squeezed into one 5-10 minute episode, because that's how much plot it actually had in it. Heh, I would just love seeing all those episodes squeezed into that little time frame... or perhaps skipped over altogether, with a reference such as, "Weren't we supposed to get kidnapped by some 10-year-old stuck in a computer or something?" "I don't think so..." "Who the hell cares?"

Also, in the DOMA season, Mai's voice changed, so there could be a joke about that (similar to when Tristan's voice changed). She also said this really dorky line when she was dueling in a tournament during a flashback. "Sorry, Sporto!" So that might be a repetition joke, sort of like the "digital dummy".
And in Noa's Arc, we met the Big 5... maybe when they're introduced, the KND theme song could play? (Because there were five of them? Note: Long shot. DX ) When Kaiba fought the final member of the Big Five... he had dark-colored skin and had a "western" accent, I suppose it could be called. Seto: I guess I have to face the only black character in the show now... Lector: Whut? Whyyy... I can't buh-lieve y'all would say such a thing, Seto Kaaiba! I find that racist! (he would have a very exaggerated accent) Seto: What? I can't understand your accent! Lector: Sheesh, you Japanese teenagers are all the same! Seto: Aha! *sings* You're a little bit racist! Lector: *sings* Well, you're a little bit too! One of the Yugi-crew (likely Tea or Yugi): Hey, you can't use musical numbers in a duel! Later in the duel... Lector-Jinzo: Now, I'll increase my Life Points by 1500 points and have my satellite destroy your monster! *scene of the satellite firing a "virtual lazer beem"* Kaiba: *staring at it* It sucks to be me....!! Even later... Seto: Now, Blue Eyes! Ignore the lack of oxygen in the upper atmosphere and fly into outer space to destroy his satellite! Lector-Jinzo: *scene where a vein in his brain is pulsing o_o * Throb. Throb. Seto: Looks like it sucks to be you. I guess I just want an episode with Avenue Q references, and for some reason, this episode seems like it could pull that off. ^^;
